district buffs, customs buffs, etc.

I was thinking. The districts rarely play apart of these games so why not have a buff given to certains ditricts for the whole game. Like d11 gets a high jump boost.
Also maybe by winning special events you can get custom boost for yourself. I would love getting 4+ jump and speed buffs.
If the district buffs are implemented i suggest donors could choose what districts they wanted and have a small list so if they get their first choice they get their second or third choice.
Another decent idea would be adding diamond axes shovels and scythes which can do what theyre suppose to do. This would add an interesting twist to fights if you could build shelters. And finally secret dispenser with enchanted weapons and armor!

District 1: +.5 Damage to all Gold/Diamond Weapons And -.5 damage done with every gold/diamond armor
District 2: Strengh+
District 3: Blast restistance
District 4:Respiration (longer drowning time)
District 5: Able to get and use redstone
District 6: +2 Speed
District 7: +2 damage with Axes
District 8: -1.5 Damage taken for each peice of leather armor
District 9: Takes longer to lose Hunger
Distrct 10: Increased loot from passive mobs
District 11: +1 Speed and +2 Jump
District 12: Longer time to take damage from Fire

I like the idea of donors being able to pick which district. :) And the boosts. Though eh... I don't like the "no killing your district partner." Just because the fact that in the Hunger Games, districts killed their partners.

This would be a great idea except I agree with Katie on the whole hurting others thing. Here are some suggestions for the buffs
District 1: .5 More damage to all weapons
District 2: Increased chance of finding diamonds
District 3: Able to create explosives and set off(Harvest sand)
District 4: Increased chance of catching fish
District 5: Able to get and use redstone
District 6: .5 increase to health regeneration
District 7: Able to harvest reeds and make paper and maps
District 8: Increased armor resistance
District 9: Easier to tame wolfs
District 10: More drop from passive mobs
District 11: Increased chance of apples and golden apples dropping
District 12: Can make and receive torches

These are all based off from which district there from

Do you guys like the custom buff ideas? or the axe for cutting down trees and such.

In my opinion it should be this since it will be hard for them to program bufs like those
District 1: start with 2 iron or 1 diamond (i know it sounds op but this is career district)
District 2: start with 10 cobble stone (furnace or sword choice)
District 3: 2 TNT but no detonator (will have to team up with D2<levers pressure plates> or D5,redstone... duh> to set off)
District 4: start with fishing rod and 3 feathers (bait)
District 5: start with 8 red stone plus 1
District 6: start with 1 boat or 1 mine cart (future maps can involve rail systems) if neither they can get a speed potion that lasts for 3 minutes
District 7: start with 3 wooden logs
District 8: start with 5 pieces of leather
District 9: starts with 6 wheat and 1 bread (or a mechsuit wink wink nudge nudge)
District 10: starts with 2 raw steak or 1 cooked pork chop with 2 eggs
District 11: starts with iron hoe and seeds+2bones
District 12: start with 4 coal and 4 sticks

But the problem is in the books districts started with nothing so yea Gingers idea is better

This idea is not only a lot of work but it gives an unfair advantage to Donors. You guys already get into any server you want... why give yourselves more advantages? I like the "Donors pick districts" idea though, that could be fun for people who know they"re teaming
