Wow. As tough as it is to read this, stories like these open the eyes of countless online abusers who finally realize the harm they do. I give you mad props for sharing this story and revealing a ton of your personal life and struggles. The worst part about this is that many more people go through this everyday, but they don't have the courage to speak up like you did.

Warning: this next part of my post uses Foopy's story as an argument for the cause of getting terms like "eZ" and "rekt" made an offense in the mcsg rules. If Foopy or anyone else sees this as innapropriate or insensitive (using her difficult story to help promote a seperate cause) I'll gladly take it down.
Now, I'm sure we've all heard about the controversy surrounding negative terms like "eZ" and "rekt". We've heard people argue that these sayings should fall under rule 2 in the mcsg rulebook, and the senior staff reply that players should get thicker skins and that the saying of these terms will never be an offense. Besides, how much harm can a little online harassment do?
In response to that question, I present to you this thread. Look at what Foopy has gone through online and how the internet has changed from a hopeful save haven to a torture cell for her. (note- I am aware that what Foopy has gone through is much worse than someone saying eZ in chat.) The abuse she has gotten has led her into an even deeper depression and precarious state of mental health. All of this abuse has been words, snarled at Foopy in chat or thrown at her in group calls. Words hurt, they hurt a whole lot and as shown here can even effect the personality of people in real life.
So why, knowing how much damage words can do to people over the internet, do the staff avoid punishing the most common type of abuse on mcsg? I've heard staff members argue that terms like "rekt" aren't that big a deal because, well, they aren't that mean and don't hurt people. Unfortunately, some people take these sayings very personally and let them effect their mental psyche. Imagine if you are severely depressed and play mcsg to get away, but someone says one of these mean terms at you in chat and it takes you over the edge. This scenario is admittedly unlikely, but why do the staff even risk letting people abuse others through sayings that can severely damage people's mental states?
So how would making these terms bannable help, you might ask. Simply put, making these terms punnishable makes the player know that mcsg has their back. Making terms like "eZ" an offense proclaims to the players that the staff want mcsg to be a place where you can relax, a place where you can escape your problems and don't have to worry about being abused.
Main Message: Why do the staff allow abuse through terms like "rekt" when they fully know that they can damage people's mental state to a point of depression or perhaps even worse?... Why risk the health of your players when you can do something to help?
