Community Map Builders get VIP

Look, in the mod meeting we asked chad he said no way they are getting VIP because of map building, but maybe free donator or something else will be worked up in the future for this.

Your thinking hurts me. They made maps to show dedication and love for Survival Games. MCSG is their motivation to move on. Having the maps on the servers is quite inadequate, and about the VIP issue, I already said that they should get a special 'Map Builder' rank.

the map creators made the maps expecting nothing in return before so why expect something in return now? If they made the maps to show their dedication then why ask for something more then being credited and have their map featured?

Because some people might not believe the map creators if they say they have made that map.

Their name was put below the map ingame and their thread was linked on a post on the front page. If people don't believe then it shouldn't matter. There are still people who believe that mods are donors and not mods but we don't care because it shouldn't matter what others think

I think if they made a map that got accepted, they are a biggee part of the community. They should get some sort if recognitiln for it

The builders workd very hard in the map, an the only thing they get is a small nametag on the beginning of the game?
Moderators also worked hard, thats the reason they get priority join (and to catch hackers) as recognition.
And what would be the problem giving VIP to them? Does MCSG lose anything giving it to them, as far as I know nothing will happen. So why don't you give them that small pressure as recognition of their hard work...

I think maybe as a thanks for their work they should get a "Map Creator" title at the very most that acts like a permanent iron doner. This would be a great thanks to them but also at the same time when more and more maps get accepted this may become a problem so i dunno in all honesty.
Perhaps only the lead builder from each map accepted can get this rank or pass it onto a co-lead builder if they already have mod for example

I don't think the lead builder should get it, more the people that helped the most.

The leader should decide what members of the team get the benefit. That way only the biggest helpers are recognized. If someone made like one trap they wouldnt get it

At first I thought it was a good idea because I personally built probably 80% of Fortress Pyke, and would like at least to be builder. But, if the community map makers really want VIP or Builder, they should apply for Vareide or MCSG Builder. The only problem is I don't think they even look at the builder app's anymore. I applied, and haven't gotten a response. And I would apply for Vareide but I'm too busy to spend a lot of time making an amazing build right now.
