WHY did Team Elite revamp the lobby?

The revamp was so unnecessary. They didn't improve it, they just lowered it in quality. I don't understand why Team Elite needed to be involved with this. I'm happy we at least we have something like the old one, I liked it more than the last one that was stuffed on the servers for a good half a year, but the unaltered version of this lobby was so much better. They basically turned a rather rustic and nice looking lobby into some kiddy looking playground.

Agreed, I honestly lost faith in Team Elite after the Hell Games ma and Solar Frost v2...

This change doesn't redeem their reputation IMO

I love how at first everyone was like "OMG old lobby I luv it!!!" and suddenly "Blarghs. I hate it."


But personally, I'm fine with the lobby, I just miss the call me maybe lyrics and the nyan cat

I think everyone is too caught up in nostalgia.

You know you guys can browse the internet and never even look at a lobby right? Works wonders for me.

I personally don't mind the new lobby, I preferred the original but this one is OKAY. The thing that really gets me though is the feeling when you use WAY to much quartz in one build. Quartz is nice and all but if you tried to build a house out of quartz you would throw up, I say add the original back or the lobby before the lobby before last (The indoor one with cool parkour), I don't know if you guys liked it but the beta lobby and that lobby were my favourites.

Things stayed the same:
1. Same building shape
2. Pillars
3. Climbing ladder things


Things changed for worse:
1.No more houses
2.Biome things have been changed
3. No call me maybe lyrics
4. Protips gone
5.cake table gone
6.Cake everywhere is gone
7. The little one block wide and 4 block high ditches are around the whole thing
8.Room you get stuck in and you can block glitch to get out of lobby
9.bed to sleep in
10.Unclear parkour


Things Changed for better:
1.more extensive parkour
2. Training thing Although all supplies are just taken by one player


in general the bad out ways the good heavily, IMO when people asked for a beta lobby they asked for THE BETA LOBBY.

That lobby your talking about wasn't the beta lobby, there was on before that.

I have no say in this, simply because I started playing MCSG way after Beta, but I have seen the old lobby and it was much better than the revamp. I hope I don't sound biased because I don't like any of Team Elite's builds, but I feel that when it comes to things like this, it should be the community's decision.

All I can say is at least it's not that last one we had. The only thing I liked about that was the fireworks...
