Oh, I just want to clarify that I did download it (wanted to make sure that I gave an honest review and didn't judge off pictures only)
Damn I just realised something!
Leaves play a massive part in the terrain , and on our server , and MCSG (I beleive) leaf decay it turned off.
If leaf decay is turned ON , however the map will look horrible and apples will be strewn all over the floor. I've tested it in singleplayer and that would explain all the random holes in the ground. They are not terraforming mistakes , but leaves that had decayed. If there is a fix for this in singleplayer please let me know.

Yeah right!! That was one of the things I was gonna fix. There are so called "no decay leaves" in minecraft. These happen when you place leaves by hand but can easily be done with worldedit if you know the right data value. I'll do it when I get back.
