We the staff are now letting a lot more info out as many of you requested. During the recent drama, we even held an entire Q&A session on TS explaining the whole story and answering your questions. Were you not there? And for playing a couple games, we are playing everyday. If you go on TS you can see us in the mod chats playing. Me and a couple mods and a Sr. Mod played a couple matches of MCSG yesterday, and we also interacted with others within the game.
I was there for the Q&A but I wasn't specifically referring to that.
I said it in the thread that it's specifically the higher up staff that hide from the community, not the mods. I know many mods that play with normal members, and I like that. But I have never seen it from an admin or community manager, and very very rarely from sr staff.
We do play with other players all the time, I've seen plenty of moderators play with normal members. I personally don't because I don't know many normal members.
Another thing is you should get to know the normal members. Just join a random TS channel with some members in it and play with them :) Many people do things like that.

I don't really like to do that personally sorry :p And for the higher playing with normal players, I think since they're busy that they want to spend the little free time they have with their friends. Sure it doesn't hurt to talk to new players but I'm guessing they like to spend their time playing with each other.

Um they do lol . I see many play with members because they are friends. At the time of this post, I can a Sr.Mod and 4 moderators playing with 5 donors. And another channel has 3 mods and 2 donors.

But what about all the people that are new to MCSG, They have no friends. They need help from a MOD, To know how to use TeamSpeak, and to learn new stuff that some member wouldn't know about.

I don't know if people want random admins joining their channels, kinda awkward. I know I don't ._. Let them play with friends. I'd rather play with my friends than crash people's channels and make silence because they're surprised senior staff decided to talk to them. Though they could post more on the forums.

If they need help from a moderator, they should ask. You can't expect a moderator to know who's new and start teaching them out of the blue.

But, Maybe mods could join random channels, and ask people if everything is alright, Maybe play a game or two with them, Then move onto another channel :)

As previously said, many don't want us moderators crashing into people's channels as some just want to talk to friends and not be bothered :p

Well you can't say they are that much busier than a normal player because everyone has a life, and that can't really count as an excuse all the time. And there is also the hard work for the staff, but that can't be all that much harder than a mod's work to the point where they are almost unable to play.

I'm not saying they have to play specifically as a team with normal players, but they should join a game every so often or at least chat a bit with people in some lobbies if they don't have much time. Interact, not necessarily join up with.

I wouldn't mind someone coming into my channel and playing a game with me (As long as there mature)
