No I agree with what you're saying. The thing I'm saying is for the people who got banned falsely, they don't deserve a perm ban, give them a second chance, if they get banned again from the anti cheat then most likely no more chances or whatever.

I didn't say it is incredible and infallible; I said it's extremely accurate.

To be blunt with it we are not BadLion. We are not subject to be compared to them because we are not them even if we may have a comparative player base.

But then we're back at Square A again where XAC would issue minute long bans and nothing really happen without the intervention of a Moderator.

When I say "We understand it's an issue," I'm saying that we recognize and are addressing the conflict. We obviously do not want players getting randomly banned for no reason.

How long does it take for mods to look at your dispute?

Sr. Moderators look over disputes for bans and other punishments. Judging that anti cheat bans are a bit more difficult to decide on, multiple opinions and thoughts might need to be collected from a number of Sr. Moderator's. The normal wait time is 3-5 days, which is the wait time Sr. Mod's normally say you'll need to wait. For anti cheat false positives, personally I'd say 4-6 days.

But how do we know which ones were actually hacking and which ones were getting odd hits? It's easier said than done.

It's fairly easy to determine blatant ones.

Ghost Clients and stuff are entirely different, but most hackers on MCSG use basic stuff like Huzuni and Nodus.

edit: For the really sketchy people, (Like Tene was for example), you should leave them to the staff, but don't have them banned.

Take a look at there rep, previous bans, mutes, actions, and just overall reputation. I can tell you, I can name 5 people right now who were banned unfairly, and they are innocent and not known for hacking.

Well I got banned from the anti cheat as well.

My situation:
I was lagging hard, because my internet was doing horrible, because sometimes randomly it would just randomly not do good. I was this one cheat repeatedly, since I was lagging, and then when I opened it I died and got banned for "hack client" RIP MCSG

My opinion on this Anti-Cheat is that I'm actually quite skeptical about it. I trust our devs but I just don't like the fact that it permanently bans players for detected use of hacked client. The anti-cheat is definitely great and there has been a decrease in hackers, but I sometimes think that innocent people can get banned as well. I won't give out any examples, but I feel as if a permanent ban is too strong. In my opinion, I think that if the anti-cheat does detect a hacked client, the ban should at least be 1 week, similar to the old punishments for hackers. If the player logs on to the server after 1 week and the auto-cheat detects the same usage of hacked client; it can result in a permanent ban. With that method, The bans would be more accurate than what it is now therefore if a player was unfairly banned by the Anti-Cheat, the player would have a second chance still to see if it was the Anti-Cheat's fault or they were actually hacking which would ultimately make more people happy. (hopefully)

Anti cheat bans should never be permanent.

If you get more than 2 or 3 anti cheat 3-7 day bans, the staff should go over your case to determine if they get perm banned.

anticheat for example, doesn't have nearly as many false positives. There have been a few, (Gloryblade, Stimpy, Oculism), but not near the extent that MCSG had.

Oculism was banned by moderator action, not anticheat (he was pardoned but then banned for Toxicity). As shown in his video, he was trying to look suspicious.

Gloryblade was banned on his main by anticheat without recording. He recorded a video on his alt in which he was trying to get banned, and then banned by the moderators, not anticheat.

Stimpay was given several hours in a private stream to try and replicate and set off the false positives that banned him; he failed to set off one false positive.

I maintain that anticheat is 100% accurate, but the mods are not.
