Ok that's fine if you believe, but there is actually not a shred of evidence so maybe you should consider that your beliefs may be wrong? Maybe you could admit that you have no justification for your proposition instead of asserting that you're right just because of an abject say-so.

The problem is that if you provide an atheist with one infallible proof of God, he will start believing immediately.
However if you provide buttloads of evidence against God no religious person will change their beliefs.

There is absolutely no evidence for God. I use to believe in God because my parents told me to, now I don't. My life without God has been exactly the same, if anything my life is better than before. I am free from the thread of hell and I don't need to worship some invisible man to be happy. Believing in God does nothing to your life. If you all of a sudden threw away your religion I guarantee you wouldn't feel worse. Tell me why should I believe in something that has not a single shred of evidence. Tell me why you believe in something without a single shred of evidence. If you were to show me one single piece evidence that undisputedly helped with the existence of God, I would believe in him instantly.
Is it too much for me to ask for some form of real evidence in order for me to believe in a magic man in the sky.

I know the brain exists because I can see the brain. You can't see, hear, or feel God. That is the most absurd thing Ive ever heard anyone say. There are many things wrong with that you believe. Your own bible promotes rape and killing and hates homosexuals. Your whole belief has not evidence. If you can't see anything wrong with what you believe than you are clearly blind.

Nothing has ever proven the bible to be true. NOTHING! The only thing that says the bible is true is the bible itself. Im not going to base my while life on something that isnt true and has absolutely nothing. If your parents were hindu, you would be too. What you believe in is rediculous. Nothing you can do or say that would prove otherwise. Why do you defend this belief that you cant even prove. Do you think that every other religion is false? The bible isnt true and God isnt real. You cant even back up your own belief.

I understand your beliefs and I have mine, let's just leave it at that. But, I do NOT believe in everything in the bible. I believe that all of that stuff is impossible. But when I think of God, it is someone inside of me. Who helps me through the bad times. Not the God in the sky.

Everything that the religious people have said in this thread has been knocked down by evidence and common sense. You guys haven't made one good argument. How does this God help you? Are you saying you don't believe the nonsense in the bible and the God in the sky doesn't help you but a God inside of you does? What in the world does this God inside of you do? If all the things in the bible are impossible then why how is God real? What made you come to the conclusion that the bible isn't real. Is it the fact that is has no evidence and has ridiculous things in it. Why can't you just come to the same conclusion that there is no God.

I bet if you dumped this idea that God helps you, you will live a better life. Stop living a fake imaginary life. Please grow up. Might as well believe in the tooth fairy, loch ness monster, bigfoot, and unicorns. Do you believe in those too? But I like to think that there is someone that watches over me. I don't think he's in the sky, more as character in our souls. Someone that motivates us inside, God is us. God is our mind, God is our feelings. God is your body, God is who makes you YOU. You don't have believe in my beliefs, most people don't believe in the way I think of God, and that's okay. We all have our different mind sets. And that's what makes us who we are .

Is there anything that would point to that being true? There isn't a scientist in the world that would say God is on our bodies. That is just nonsense and totally random.

You did just say "Bad is bad, leave it in the pass". Those quotes are from the very book you obey and from the very God you worship. We do not forgive God for what he has done. It is said in the bible that God is perfect and everything he does and says it correct. If you believe in God and the bible then according to you everything in the holy book is true. You cannot just push those thing aside and forget about it. I will not allow you to do that. You only pick the good stuff and try to shove the bad under the rug. If God is real he is a horrible person and there is nothing you can say or do that will prove otherwise. If you are christian then you cannot ignore this. If religion is good then why does it have that stuff? Just read those quotes above.

You don't need God to be happy and it does not help you to be a better person. Atheists are just as good as religious people. We don't need a book or a God to tell us what to do. Atheists do good things because they want to, not because they don't want to go to hell.

There is nothing that proves "out of body experiences". Heaven is not real and there is absolutely no proof for it. Someone hallucinating isn't an out of body experience. There isn't one example of an out of body experience.

Religion does not being people together, it is the cause of many many wars. People kill each other over religion and hate people who aren't the same religion. Religion only brings people of the same religion together and nothing else. It shoves out everyone else who isn't the same religion. Religion doesn't not bring people together. I can give a countless amount of examples of religion tearing people apart. Church doesn't do anything to people, it just gives you false hope. Prayer doesn't do anything and there is no proof it does.

Religon is bad and has done nothing good. You may thing religion does things for you but it doesn't. Religion has done many bad things and all you seem to want to do is ignore it and only look at the good stuff. Religion is the biggest scam in history and people actually fall for it.
