Make "Trash Talk" Bannable

Exactly what people don't get is that the staff are not robots. We can make a judgement that is not based around the rules with something called common sense

Ok, we are not blaming you personally. We are blaming the entire staff team. The current ways that you (the staff team) operate is appalling. It is really embarrassing to be part of a network that can't do anything against bullying.

I try and always have tried to make this community as fair as possible and I will always take on board peoples opinions. I will look into this further and if needed I will speak to higher up members of staff.

People take games to serious, if I die I just go to another game. If I die and people say 'you got wrecked noob' to me, then I just say 'ikr, I suck so much'. People never say something back because they expect you to rage at them. If everyone just did this, threads like this wouldn't exist.

It's not taken serious for the reason that you gt a warnin first so you have time to make up and there aren't that many mods I see 1 or 2 a week to 2 weeks there always in the hubs never ingame

I will admit it myself, I was the mod in that game. Trust me while I really wanted to to something about it, simply we cannot.

Obviously it's annoying but people need to relax and not take comments like that to heart. It's just a game

The rule does NOT include only harassment, it also includes disrespecting other players.

Example 1. Let's take a closer look and see what exactly makes it a violation of the rules.

[User], you suck at Minecraft.
First of all, it calls them out by name. That's normal, and okay to do.
Afterwards, it goes on to say, "You suck at Minecraft". This part is where things get disrespectful.
By that thought, shouldn't anything synonymous also be disrespectful, and thus a violation of the rules?
For example:
"You suck". It doesn't have to mention Minecraft specifically.
"Get Rekt". What that means, when taken literally, is that the person said that you are going to (Or, with the implied meaning, already did,) get utterly annihilated in a fight. While the definition of these words is not disrespectful, the connotation and implications behind it are extremely rude, derogatory, and can sometimes be downright offensive.
Now, if it's said from friend to friend, that's another case. There's a sense of joking and it's common for pals (particularly males) to insult each other, sort of like how you might dunk your friend underwater in a pool for a second or two.
"eZ". How could such a short, two-letter message be so hurtful? "eZ" translates to "Easy", and it implies that what is "easy" is you, the person it is said to. Being "easy" could mean several things, including but not limited to A) Getting into bed, B) Killing, C) Scamming. In this case, it's option B. Being told you're easy to kill. Hmm. While that may not be quite offensive in a video-game free-for-all, battle arena, it's still disrespectful, and has become synonymous with other terms like "Get Rekt", which I discussed above. Not only has it become synonymous, but it also is used at the same time as it, furthering the connection between the two terms.

So, if this is disrespecting other players, which is a direct violation of the rules, WHY IS IT NOT PUNISHABLE?
A mute isn't good enough. I was Livestreaming with a friend, and he let slip a curse word in chat. He was then muted for an hour by a Moderator who was in the game/watching the livestream. You know what happened? He raged. What didn't happen, was he didn't learn a lesson. I can guarantee that he will continue to swear in chat even though he was muted once, and even if I talk to him about how it's negative, he's going to continue to do so.
A kick? That's sometimes even worse. All it does is piss them off. I don't remember being kicked in a long time, but I do know a few other people who have been, and all they did was log back onto another server, sometimes even the same server, and start playing again, with no change in their attitude.

Trash Talking is already bannable. Trash talking enters in the category of Harassment.

Well in most scenarios, I'd prefer for it to not be bannable. But this wasn't trash talk this was harassment. He repeatedly stated rude things to you unwilling to stop which IS HARASSMENT. Trash talk isn't something that should be bannable, but if this staff is blatantly determined to hunt down every single alt phiIIy or fortunate_parwez or binct gets just for the hell of banning them, I think they could do something useful with their time and ban people who deserve it. This pathetic little kid deserves his ban and the fact that he was unbanned is disgraceful and pathetic. Guys, be a bit more strict with abuse, harassment, etc. Please.

Clearly the Sr. Staff need to change the rules.
