What I mean by cramped is that the rooms just feel enclosed...its hard to explain. just add more windows. xD

That is how it is supposed to be. You are supposed to feel enclosed, like you can't escape. It all fits in with the story. (I suggest reading it, then you might understand why we did it)

The map is supposed to feel small and claustrophobic, adding windows ruins that feeling

I was going to mention...
If you break a few blocks and look at the outside of the map, you can see that the map isn't very pretty :/
