Whether or not it is actually getting fixed is a good question though. They said there was an anticheat coming out which appears to be a lie. Staff just say things to try and keep people happy temporarily or to stop annoying them.
When you see the same speed/blatant aura hackers several days in a row it gives a good idea of the effectiveness of this non-existent anticheat.Bans are not broadcasted ever so technically we have no way of knowing how many it bans.
Ever heard of ban waves? I assume the answer is no. If they banned upfront there would be a colossal amount of false bans.Whether or not it is actually getting fixed is a good question though. Yes I know what a ban wave is, the 'New anticheat' was meant to do weekly ban. They woudn't ban upfront because the anticheat doesn't existEver heard of ban waves? I assume the answer is no. If they banned upfront there would be a colossal amount of false bans.
You say you hate it when people have no idea about java development, but you're no different. 'Just because the thing broken is small does not mean it is easy to fix'. You don't know if it's hard to fix or not friend. You're literally just talking out of your ass right now.I hate it when people who have no idea about Java development or any development in general, come out and say that its a easy bug to fix and is trivial. Just because the thing that is broken is a small part of the game, does not mean it is an easy thing to fix. I really would like to see any of the people talking bad about our amazing developers try to develop such an advanced and complicated SG game mode. You need to learn Java for years before you can even start telling them how easy something is to fix.
Btw, Hypixel does not support 1.7
^^ very well saidYou say you hate it when people have no idea about java development, but you're no different. 'Just because the thing broken is small does not mean it is easy to fix'. You don't know if it's hard to fix or not friend. You're literally just talking out of your ass right now.
'People talking bad about our amazing developers'. Mate, I addressed this in my previous post - if people refuse to accept that these issues aren't being treated the way they should be and everyone decides to kiss-ass instead, they're never going to be fixed.
It's just ironic that your arguement is 'you have no idea how hard Java is' when you're literally in the exact same position. All that post did was give the devs a nice pat on the back - I don't see the point of it unless you're trying to score brownie points with Snr. Staff or something, and that wasn't uncommon years ago either, funnily enough.
You need to understand that at the end of the day, like 98% of players don't go on these forums. They connect to a hub, get in a server and play the game. Players don't care if you say that the devs are 'Amazing, working real hard to fix the issue at hand. It isn't easy!' The average consumer wants to play the game and enjoy it, and when bugs like these aren't fixed they're going to leave and find another server that peaks their interests, because we're all human and we all get fed up with obvious problems that are not fixed.
What I'm trying to say is, you can tell the forum community that the Devs are the 'best of the best', working 18 hours a day in a Chinese sweatshop or whatever you like, but your average player does not know about this since they aren't forummers, nor do they really give a crap. As long as the issues are there, they're going to leave, regardless of how much you talk up and defend the developers on the forums.

Well it's not like I have 2 years of experience in Java development or anything. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.You say you hate it when people have no idea about java development, but you're no different.
