When you couldnt break stuff but creepers could, so I tricked a creeper into blowing up a couple of coal ores outside of the house that used to contain two diamonds. I used those coal to cook the beef I received when I killed the cows outside there.

I also particularly liked how naive I was. I found mcsg because I watched Capt. Sparkles play it, and thought 'I want to find somewhere to play this' (I was ill at the time) and searched Survival Games Servers. I got on one in Deathmatch (Back when you could :D) and didn't understand what was happening, so I kept trying to punch one of the two final tributes, and I just kept teleporting between them. Then the server restarted when one of them won, and I waited intently for it to start. When it did, we began playing map 1, and I was absolutely terrified, the adrenaline was pumping, my hands were shaking etc. I ran off immediately (didn't go for corn), and didn't bother searching for chests (I was that nervous), I just wanted to survive! I spent my first night on an island right next to the boundary glass, in a tree, avoiding some skeletons and a creeper, and in the morning I found a chest with decent armour and an axe in. These were very useful and I managed to fend off some players, and eventually came third in the third in the end :)
Ahh... Good times :D

I remember trash talking all of the players with high points because I thought it might be fun to have the best players going after me (what.).

Especially miss when the first lobby spawned everyone in the small spawn room when it still had piston doors, and if you were the first one out you could stand on the other side on top of the pressure plates and trap the entire lobby in there.

I may not have been a member of this site for long, but I've been playing on these servers since beta.

I miss the days when SG was just getting popular... When there were just a bunch of noobs playing, and it was so easy to win.

And the arena deathmatch, where there was falling sand and lava... you could just run around the edges and knock people (who were too scared to move) into the lava and rack up like 10 kills a round.

When at the end of a game, all the specs would glitch through the deathmatch arena glass and jump into the lava, and everyone in the next game would be wondering why half the players were on fire.

120 servers on SG3 when it just came out... Hiding in the trees and waiting for everyone to fall off mountains.

People pretending to be antvenom or honeydew or captainsparklez in the chat, even though it was blatantly obvious that they were faking.

Getting on top of the trees in the old lobby and watch people wonder how you did it.

Glitching underneath the lobby and watching people ask why there were people outside the lobby.

When you could hide in a tree and wait for the mobs to kill everyone.

When there were only a few mods, most of which knew you if you were a frequent player... Mods that you could call friends.

The hackers that died in the first two seconds.

Everyone was friends.

Yeah, I should probably stop now... I could probably go on forever though. ;)

I remember when I would get a huge adrenaline rush at the start of every game.

I remember the arrival of SG2.

I remember the unnerfed pirates cove

I remember lottery cheaters (not that long ago)

I remember a handful of lobbies. (3-5?)

I remember hating losing 50 points randomly instead of 5 on death. (Glitcheeeeh!)

I remember being very happy when I got 50 points out of a kill rather than 5. (Glitcheeeeh again!)

I remember a huge war on SG1, I had a team of three against everyone else. I ended up winning.

I remember dying to Im_Kiko and The_Arena_Master. I remember the old old lobby (with the fountain) I remember Chad's livestreams on SG2. Most of all, the early cyanvolts.
I remember when there as only one map, SG1. I had 27 wins before the reset exiting beta. Joined the forums on May 5.
