I do believe though that the community used to be more like a "family." This most likely has to do with player counts increasing, so you just can't get along with that many people.
To the "family" part of your post and others posts, I totally agree. Everyone used to know everyone and now it's more of an individual clique deal rather than a big family. Nonetheless, you can still find an amazing family within MCSG. Clans are a great way to accomplish that, along with just having a tight knit group of friends.

Forum threads just aren't the same, with all the fancy colours and things.

I like where MCSG is, except the forums. When I joined last April, they were way more active. Sure there were more useless threads, but at least that balanced out with good informative threads. My theory is that with the introduction of the hub, players have no use for the website to get the ip anymore and will only come here if they want donor, want to apply for mod, etc. I bet a lot of players barely know the forums exist. I think that we should at least try to advertise the website in-game sort of how we do the CubedHost advertisements. We could try to convince players to come by showing that on the forums you can get tips and tricks, see up coming maps, etc.

On the last day of the semester we were watching "educational" videos in class and my friend showed us that video. I'm pretty sure half the class was either crying or dead.
I was so freaked out first time I saw that, I understand your classes emotions
