Sorry for the double-post here guys.
It does give an edge to a player. But if all players have the ability and can use this edge, it's not an edge anymore. The movie the Incredible put it in the best way:
If everyone has an edge because of the glitch... no one does.
When you pick up a new video game it's always an unfriendly environment. You have to learn different tricks, and improve. This tactic, or "glitch" is just another thing to learn. It's only as unfriendly as the whole game is to a new player.
I know you're quoting me here on this one. But at the time, I did explain it better then that.
