How much do your favourite YouTubers earn?

Ok this is just sickening, just now I refresh my Twitter feed to see a link InTheLittleWood as posted that shows how much all these YouTubers demand for making videos on a server. I can understand that they will want money but these are just ridiculous, there are 4 digit numbers and I have been told by a reliable source that SkyDoesMinecraft demands 5 digit numbers for playing on servers!

Im gona copy this guys table out to here so you guys can see for yourselves what your favourite minecraft YouTubers earn as personally, it disgusts me...

Honestly, I don't have a favourite Youtuber there, but all of them are earning ridiculous amounts of money; give me some to buy myself a computer. ;-;

It just goes to show that they really could buy extremely powerful gaming computers, and probably do.

I know I'm gonna get hate for this, but I honestly think they don't deserve all this money. People who work hard in school to get decent paying jobs deserve more than people just sitting at their computers. I still they should make some, but not enough to have it as your main source of income. Just being honest.

I see your point, there are some who definitely don't deserve the numbers the get. I will be surprised if I don't get hate for this but pewdiepie does not deserve as much game and subs as he has. He is very good at what he does and works hard but there are others who deserve that #1 spot.

Smosh have worked hard since youtubes first year, they definitely deserve their numbers, but these minecraft youtubers definitely shouldn't be earning 4 digit numbers, I know for a fact that sky earns 5 digit numbers! (Yes, servers actually do make that much money...)

For those that are wondering this is how getting payed on Youtube works:
The ad before a video that you see is how the channel makes money. Every time the ad is viewed 1,000 times, the channel is payed. The amount you get varies a lot based on your channel size. Most big youtubers can make around $20 per thousand ad views. This is why theses calculations on this thread could vary a lot. Because, you can't simply calculate it by the number of video views, since not everyone sees the ad. Do to adblock or under other circumstances.

Clearly, this is just another source of income for them.

I recall drama in relation to this a while back... a group of YouTubers were charging money to upload the video of the server in the first place, and then another fee to place the server IP in the description/annotations. One YTer in particular was pretty much misleading their viewers, by placing their own server IP...
