Joining while deathmatch is going on is disabled because it might cause some lag I guess.

How would it be any different than joining in-game..?

Basically it wouldn't but still if a lot of players are joining at the same time it lags a bit. I guess they just want to offer us totally lag free deathmatch.

That is a really good idea. But I dont think that would prevent players from teaming after the blindness is over. You can still type team. Overall I think this will work but it may need a test run and a little tweeking.
