Chest Tiering Idea

Hi!

So after hearing about this new map update, I thought of an idea that could go well with it: a new chest update! In short:

In my idea, there won't be any more custom tiering. At the beginning of each match, a certain amount of chests in the map selected are randomly chosen to be tier 2. This can vary from the total amount of chests on the map (like 10% of the chests on the map, for example, so a map with 200 chests would have 20). The process is completely random and there is no player interference whatsoever. This would eliminate any OP chest routes and make the game a lot more difficult, since so many people are complaining about it being too easy.

I think this idea would be extremely beneficial and give MCSG a new outlook and difficulty.

And I didn't play MCSG all day, I just heard about it on the forums.
O, bcuz you said because of the new map update, but it never happened so I thought I'd let you know :p

The new map update is still a work in progress, I am on the fence for the idea btw

I know I just said after HEARING about it, not necessarily playing on it. It's that they're announcing change and why not more change xD
Love this idea, it would make the game a lot more fun and challenging :)
And what's good about it is that you can still keep your routes, but you'll never know what you'll get on them.

I don't like it, at all.

I feel like it would get too frustrating for solo gameplay and also be suppppperrr hard for clan scrimmages and battles.

I think maybe they should just spread the tier 2's out a little bit more and make all the maps even and fair, so that theres not just certain routes that were tiered to be OP.

I'm probably just being stubborn and stuck in my ways :p

It was just a suggestion.
I only came up with it because people were fed up with there being so many OP chest routes on maps, and no matter how the staff re-tiers the chests, the community is never satisfied with the result.
And you don't have to change your routes at all, it's just a game of luck to see if your route has better stuff. I don't really see how this would affect clan battles, considering they should be spread out equally around the map

I completely understand the point you were trying to make. It's a rad idea, but like I said, i'm probably just being stubborn. :p Wasn't trying to bash your idea, man.
