Community Poll: Leaderboards Reset with Newest Update?

I speak on behalf on the people on MCSG.. Reset the stats and the people ranked high will quit, They spent a lot of their time doing this and if they reset the stats all of their HARD WORK will be GONE. It's just a stupid idea because the people that WANT a stat reset can simply just BUY a stat reset. If they do this that's just bull fkin sht.

Honestly, I agree 100% Why make this stat reset affect everyone? Then there was no point of buying new stats in the first place. So many have worked their asses off to get where they are now, and this would basically throw it all away. Also the amount of tryharding as a result of this would be wayyyyyyyyyy too high. The game would just be less enjoyable for people overall in my opinion.

Have you actually tried practicing the hardest you can?
Well the top 3k people tried hard to get where they are now. Look at baccaplaysmc, during the summer he was on the third page now look at him now. He has surpassed Huahwi in wins. Thats dedication. I am not calling you bad, I just said you have nothing to show for. You are probably in the top 8k. So you would not care, because you have not won or played as much games as the people in the top 3k.

How about daily/weekly/monthly leaderboards instead? That way people have the chance to be at the top of something without having to lose their overall stats.

I really wish they would reset, because it would give new members a chance to get to the top of the leaderboards. I just joined the community 3 months ago, so i will NEVER get to the top unless they reset the leaderboards. I also wish there was no stats resets. People seriously abuse them. They reset, boost, ruin stats, repeat. I mean, i understand mcsg makes money from that, but still.

PRESTIGE
Maybe a prestige system could be implemented. Every 100 wins or something you would move up a prestige rank so you would be competing against a fewer amount of people that have similar skill level to you for the top rank in the prestige level you are on. If this could be implemented into a matchmaking system as well that would be INSANE!! Instead of versing really skilled or not so skilled players you verse people just above or just below your skill level in a match. Just a suggestion and I realize it would be incredibly hard to implement but if it happened it would be Awesome.
CLAN LEADER BOARDS
Some people may be against it but if regional clan leader boards came out that were run by the MCGamer network I think that would bring a whole lot of competitive action to the game. With the new spectator mode said to be released as well as dedicated servers for clan battles to take place, if these games were live streamed or recorded I believe this would attract a large audience. If we gave people the ability to choose their favorite clan and maybe even there favorite players to support and cheer on I personally believe that would be great.
REGIONAL LEADER BOARDS
Like there is in the AU hub with all the heads on the wall representing the regions top players, if this could be brought out in all regions not only with the heads in the hub but on the leader boards i reckon that would be pretty cool. If people were split into the region that they predominantly play on to see the top players that are in your region and how you rank against them this would make for some pretty fierce competition. At the moment you have to rank yourself against people you cannot really properly verse as there is a connection advantage to someone in say US if they are versing someone that lives in AU or EU.

Merely suggestions but I think these ideas would be awesome!

That would be a sick idea all 3! I think the skill-based ranking system would be too hard to configure and people could just purposely drop their rank to verse easier people to get easy wins. The second idea would be amazing though. A properly set up clans division that is possibly streamed and competitive will definitely broaden the community and make this server very popular.
