Just asking,
Considering how Ibuypower computers are fairly cheap & well built, how much money would you save building your own over buying from them? (roughly)

I actually got my computer from them. The main reason being was I was on vacation during Christmas and wanted my new computer to be ready to go the day I got back so I just had them build it.

I was enough to find a really great deal on a computer from them and managed to get a 580/i5 2500k build from them for around the same price as what you would pay if you bought the parts individually.
In fact, I actually might have saved money as they had special promotions going on with certain parts I got.

Might I recommend: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125451&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-_-pla-_-Desktop Graphics Cards-_-N82E16814125451&gclid=CJK8s8a17LgCFelAMgod6VYAFw

Best bang for your buck at that price range.
Don't get me wrong, I am a huge Nvidia person but when it comes to low budget builds, the best and most reasonable option is to go the AMD route.

However, if you are able to fork out an extra 30-40, you can get your hands on a GTX 660 which is slightly better overall than the 7850.

I'm starting to think you have quite a bit more experience in this than I do :p
Any help/advice you wish to provide is appreciated, as I am just starting out in this field.

Anyways, Mamiamato24 I've finished your build, though the monitor/keyboard went significantly over your budget :/

Setup 1 - Without Monitor/Keyboard - $785

Setup 2 - With Monitor/Keyboard - $964

I'll attempt to do a bit more research and find you a cheaper one. Pcpartpicker, though great for finding deals on everything else, doesn't seem to have any cheap monitors.

Budget: No more than $1,000
CPU: Intel or AMD: Intel
GPU: AMD or Nvidia: Nvidia
Focus: High FPS. Capable of running other games (call of duty, Battlefield, etc.)
What Parts Do You Already Have: Mouse and keyboard
Do You Have A Monitor/Operating System: No moniter. And I don't have a copy of Windows 7.
What Peripherals Would You Like: None
Any Special Notes: Try and get something cheap but at the same time really good. But I'd rather have a computer that is pretty good and at a low price, rather than a beast computer at a high price (if that makes any sense).

I was able to increase my budget so here's my second app!
Budget: $500 - $570
CPU: Intel or AMD: Intel but doesn't matter
GPU: AMD or Nvidia: Nvidia but I heard AMD is better in my price range so doesn't matter
Focus: Best FPS possibly for lowest amount of money as possible.
What Parts Do You Already Have: Monitor, keyboard.
Do You Have A Monitor/Operating System: I have a Monitor, no OS.
What Peripherals Would You Like: None.
Any Special Notes: If possible, focus most on the things that affect FPS (ie: processor, graphics card) and focus less on the parts that don't affect FPS that much. (ie: optical drive) I still want an Optical drive and stuff I just don't want it to cost more than the processor (which is an exaggeration but I'd just like to say it)

I just ordered my computer from ibuypower. The total price without shipping was ~$850 dollars. Here are the specs:

Intel i7 3770
Gtx 660
Gigabyte z77-hd3 motherboard
1tb hard drive
Intel certified cpu liquid cooling
500w corsair power supply
8gb (2x4) G. Skill Ripjaws 1866mhz ram
AZZA Armour gaming case
Blue LED case Lighting

This does not include monitor/keyboard/mouse. Did I do a good job? Would it have been cheaper If I had built it myself? Also, tell me any suggestions for what I should've improved (if you have any). Thanks.

Well, because I still can't get to sleep, but am too tired to do anything productive, I've decided to design the most expensive computer the world has ever seen.

Behold.

$41,504.83

Nope.

THIS is the most expensive computer ever, coming in at a grand total of just over $200,000. It features six 90" monitors, $72,000 worth in SSD's, and a crap load of other stuff :p
