Maps I don't play: Origins, Fallen Empire, SG1, 2 and 3.

silly
origins and sg2 are the easiest maps to win on because nobody knows routes despite there being quite overpowered ones; If you do happen to stumble across the map, it's close to a free win. (Pinkhouse OP)

Anyway, speaking of the topic, I agree that there is hardly a skill gap here on MCGamer compared to other games (mostly non-Minecraft). I can go into a game and either destroy everyone, or get killed by someone who got a couple of unnatural hits. In a sense, this makes the game almost more fun because you truly don't know what's going to happen in every MCSG game, however on the flip side this is rather annoying for veteran players because we've put so much effort into fine tuning skill only to go into games not really needing it.

Its not just about "who can use a rod to combo." Strategies like rod crits (by rodding someone and critting them, which counts as 2 crits), are something that are difficult to master. You also have to be able to counter such attacks, with the use of the rod. I would consider myself good at countering and performing rod crits against my opponents. Also, the bow is underestimated a lot. Being able to strafe and bow spam so that nobody can touch you is also very difficult to master and can take months upon months to perfect. Minecraft PvP is not just simply "clicking and holding A or D", that's called potpvp and it sucks. Minecraft PvP is much more than that.

pot pvp>mcsg any day of the week

in pot you can't be a pussy and back out of fights unless your Gax, you have 2 be able to have incredible aim, at least 10-15 cps, actually strafe (no one on mcsg), know when to blockhit and straightline vs strafing, no rodspamming, no bowspamming, you need to know how to take as little KB as possible, you need to be able to manage your pots, worry about debuffs (debuffs are a lot more dangerous than fns), and you need to know when to pearl out and repot, or refill, or heal and start hitting.
