Microsoft VS Apple! Which is better?

Can you please explain what you mean by "better quality"? Especially considering almost all of Apple's parts are created by another manufacturer and are available on other PCs.

The computer itself feels better quality. Its made with metal not plastic and I has an amazing trackpad.

You realize that there are a ton of PCs made of metal right? And almost all trackpads are of basically the same responsiveness.

But why do you prefer that? I mean the only semi-legitimate argument you have is that the "trackpad is amazing", which is an extremely vague statement.

I honestly cannot comprehend why anyone will pay, in some cases, more than double the price for a computer with inferior specs.

Apple's iOs interface is better than Microsoft's, but it depends what you want really.

Microsoft for Gaming
Apple for stuff like browsing the web, emails, lightweight stuff like that.

Personally, I like Apple's interface better than Windows, but that's just because I'm so used to it.

If I had the choice, I'd rather Microsoft because there's more possibilities than Apple, but I'm stuck with my 2 year-old MacBook Pro for now, which is fine because I don't want to change my set-up because it will take some time to get use to a new one.

In all honesty, this all depends on what you are using your computer for. If you are doing gaming and heavy video/ picture editing, I would go with a PC because you can customize the parts for what you need and not spend unnecessary money. If you want a portable work computer, I would suggest a Apple laptop.

All macbook meet the requirements of present day software. You dont need to have a hard time deciding what mac to get because they are all good. Macbook can also be upgraded.

I agree with boboy1999 about the quality.
I'll explain my thoughts:
- First of all, many custom PCs.. are Custom Built. Someone may want a good computer, but may not know about hardware etc. Its much easier to just choose a well known computer brand of one concept and you know its gonne be good rather than have a choice of hundreds, and guess your way into Hardware.
- Having that said, many really, really, bad companies are included in android. There are good ones like Samsung, but I know a couple such as Nextpad, which don't even load Youtube. Because of this, it brings a psychological barrier, and Apple having kept to themselves , makes it feel more of a limited edition, quality product. Not only that, all of Apples products are good, which again, shows they care and put dedication into their work, are not there for money and jealousy, having watched samsungs desperate ads.
- From what I've read, Apple apparently ship their products first class.
- Apple shows a very high status amongst business class, and their icloud sync is so simple to use, as is every one of their products.
OVERALL, investing money into a high status and quality product and trusted brand, would be worth it a hundred times over imo.
As for my personal selection of a PC, I'm gonnq have to go with Windows 7, due to more varieties of hardware and downloads.

There are many well built PC's out there, crushing Mac's specs and the prices. I don't get why you'd want to pay 5000 dollars more just because it's an apple, and even get specs which are worse.

Eh, I can write a whole list, but everyday people don't know about the specs, and its status as well. Having a quality product such as apples on scale, will impress people and associates. Okay maybe for when we're 25 and into business, but I suppose from a teen's POV you have a point. Like I said, I prefer windows 7 PC's, but apple has that quality touch to it.
