Hmm.
Touchy subject for some people.
I personally do not believe in a godly 'being', rather a 'force'
My thoughts are that there must be/have been, 'something' which created the universe(s). I don't think that we were intentional; an accident if you will. Whatever created everything, in my opinion doesn't want worship or anything, it probably isn't even sentient.
Once again, this is just my opinion, nothing more.

I'm a christian c: and I'm glad to say that so freely just as everyone else can state their opinion :3 This thread makes me happy that everyone is getting along no matter what their religion is.

I'm really happy to see how civil this thread has been so far, I wouldn't have expected that on the Mcsg forums to be honest. I've been in a lot of discussions with people at my university (both atheists and christians) that have been a lot less mature than the comments I've seen so far, I hope it continues that way! :)

On the topic, I'm a Christian and I believe that there is a God. I've grown up in a christian family which certainly plays a large role but at one point in my teens, I started expanding my horizon and looking beyond what I had been told. I've looked into a lot of theories and also other religions and I've discovered way too many inconsistencies and assumptions taken to be solid facts and used as proof that the earth was created by evolution rather than creation. Because of that but also many personal experiences I have come to the conclusion that there is a God.

However, I would never want to force my views or experiences on anybody. I think that everybody should decide for themselves and respect other people's viewpoints. What I always try to do is encourage people to form their own informed opinion instead of taking someone else's word (media, parents, friends etc).

I am Catholic, in fact I'm getting ready to go to Church right now! Even being Catholic, I do still support theories such as evolution and universe creations. The reason being is that you can't take the bible at face value. I believe God didn't create the Earth in 7 days; 7 days as God would define it may be very different than our days, even billions of years. I think more of God as guiding creation, setting things up and giving little nudges, to cause things like evolution.

Yes, i'm a christian, i'm not going to argue with other people and tell them what to believe, as you can do so freely! I'm not a ''hardcore christian'' But I do go to church ever sunday, and wednesday night and pray, and stuffz.
