well looks like it is going to be removed ;( But i would like to say that ChadTheDJ should do votes like this WAY more often, this is a great way to let the community decide on issues. I think that at some point soon put one of these up with a poll letting people decide what maps should stay and what maps should be removed.

I enjoy the new voting because it gives some of the underplayed and not very well known maps a chance, variety is good.
Also I think putting a 'random' option back in would be a good twist aswell

Actually if you look at it more statistically it should stay. Keeping it and changing it are pretty much the same result as an updated version of the system would do good. For example at the time of this post 134 people want to keep it, 203 want it removed and 81 want it changed. 134+81=215 As 215>203 we would be better of keeping it and to be completely honest most people who want the old system are most likely young kids who have no idea what they are voting for and like the sound of the idea. Not saying all people who voted this will be but inexperienced people will not realise what they are voting for and actually just go for the most simple sounding option.

Honestly I don't mind the voting system if it really worked properly. When i see 2 maps.. one with 30 votes and another with 3.. and the one with 3 wins.. CONSISTANTLY, then there is something wrong. I am ok with it when its like.. 15 to 8.. or something a little closer. But when maps have less than a 5% chance of winning.. and keep winning.. that annoys me. I like the concept here, I just don't think its working quite properly.

For example make Friday; Raffle Day.
