Sean, welcome back to the land of the regular member.
Don't think of this as the ending of an adventure, but the beginning of a new one.
University will be starting up again soon for you, and you won't be weighed down by the responsibilities of a Mod. You can meet new people, make new friends. You'll have more free time to learn about other video games, gamemodes, and talk to new people on MCG.
You'll still have allies and enemies, but this is an opportunity to make more relationships, both good and bad.
Anyone who valued you for you isn't going to think any worse of you just because you stepped down. Being a Mod while trying to maintain a decent outside life (wut is this thing called outside?) and Uni grades is absurd.
While there may not always be a silver lining, there is one here.
