If you give a a boy the internet, and he has the ability to message a girl, there's a good chance you will see immature messages such as these. Boys thinking with parts other than their brain is a problem in general, not just MCSG.

Let's do it, #NoSexualOrHornyCommentsFromBoysToGirlsOnMCSGForums2013
Okay, #RespectGirls2013 <3

Seriously though, everything that Theo has said is exactly right. Be mature and think before you post something.

As to the "I'm a girl on the Internet, where's my like spam?"

Yes, I invented that. It was never meant to get out of hand like it is now, however if you disagree with that statement I'd like to inform you it's actually true.

I said one of those and I said she was pretty and told her the truth that boys follow and like people on there gender I wasn't thinking with my"parts" I was stating the obvious and the fact I said she was pretty isn't wrong at all complimenting a girl what's so wrong about that.

I get harassed for being a girl in-game. It kinda sucks and they're like

LOL of course ur stats suck ur a girl
lol girls shouldnt be on da internet
lol u suck b****

Ok so...

1. This is 2013, not 2003! Girls go on the internet... surprise...
2. Uhm... maybe I am just not very good because I'm not very good. Not because I'm a girl. Take @Da_Goose22, @Kos and @Fantasyofcheese1 for an example. They're girls, and their stats are better than average.
3. -.-

I read some study somewhere on the internets and it said that girls are better problem solvers and strategists than guys, especially in video games. Occasionally I'll be running away from some guy with a diamond sword like a chicken with its head cut off and then a girl jumps into my Teamspeak chat and is like "I bet if you jump off that cliff you can land in the water and he will miss" so I did it and died but he died too. /seppuku

Moral of the story? Uh.. Suicide is the answer? No.. Uhm.. Idk :[

Sure, it may be true but I believe that comment has caused more drama.

I guess I asked for unnecessary comments by having a picture of myself as my avatar, but the good (hard to believe right :p) part of the inappropriate comments I've received are the numerous amount of friends I've had defending me along the way.

A while back I had a picture of myself as my avatar. At that time, I never once received any type of harassment. Changed my avatar to a pug *yay* and eventually came around to changing a picture of myself as my avatar (current avatar). I have never received hate comments before like I have this time. Two incidents in particular, plus the one mentioned on this thread. I was defended like I said, but the sting was still there. I think the whole, " I'm a girl on the internet.." is to blame.

I'm not sure that people understand that whether the comments intent was to "prove a point" or to come across as a "compliment" you have to go about it in a better way. Being blunt on the internet, especially when it comes to girls never ends well.

I know you all are probably reading this and aren't taking me seriously because I'm causing the drama myself by having a picture of me as my avatar. But the thing is, you are only making yourself look bad by commenting on someones profile saying inappropriate things. I shouldn't be embarrassed by having a picture of myself as my avatar, and I'm not anymore because I've been defended through-out this whole ordeal.

This needs to stop. Sure, you may see it as a joke, but until you go through the situation yourself and know what it feels like to be mistreated and made fun of, you shouldn't say a thing. People don't take this seriously, and that's the worst part. Because even as well said as this thread was, people are still making jokes..it never ends apparently :p

I apologise for it causing drama, if you're honestly hurt by it please take my word for it that I never intended a simple sentence to hurt anyone. It was merely a joke between friends.

Anyway, the comment where I believe you're stating the drama came from was to be completely fair a complete ****storm of hate, (Yes, you and some members of the rebels are to blame too) however the point you were trying to get across was fair as you were hurt by it... Maybe next time something like that arises you.. Step away and ignore it instead of biting the persons head off.

Anyway, idiots on the Internet exist. People will always take something they found and alter it (Like what's been done on these forums) to put their point.. Or hate across. Apologizes if anyone was hurt by this however I believe everyone is over-reacting.. Just slightly. Sexism exists everywhere. Before and after this thread. This thread, to be honest will have no effect on 99% of the community.
