True, but its a dramatically lower ping compared to a server in CA. We did some ping checks and this is the closest server we can offer using Softlayer. The ping everyone was getting was better than the connection to US and payable compared to the 300ms+ you get in Dallas.

I live in Melbourneish and I get a minimum of 244ms Maximum of 250ms and I average 246ms

Ahh, I got to deathmatch, with 4 people remaining. 2 others were friends of mine, who also live in Australia like me. we all had diamond swords and iron armour. The other guy had a diamond sword and iron armour as well, but it was 3v1 so we thought we had it in the bag.

We couldn't god damn hit him! Can't wait for Australian servers and hopefully less lag!
