Minecraft 1.7 Rumored to have BSM built in?!

I personally think BSM shouldn't be disallowed since the advantage is minor but I guess it's the rules. So yay if it will be implemented.

The advantage is far from minor. Many people think this from the offset, but ask any major PvPer and they'll tell you that it can do a lot for someone's performance in PvP.

Not only will it fix that crappp sprint that minecraft has with the double tap, but it will get rid of the annoying job of catching better sprinters.

Again, bsm isn't allowed because it gives an unfair advantage, but if it is automatically put into minecraft, it no longer become better sprint mod.. its just how the game is. It can't be unfair if everyone has it no matter what.

I've tried BSM out a few times (not on this server ofc) and I've hated it.
I'm not for BSM, I never have. I'll never use it even if it's installed into Minecraft. But, thank God that this will remove the problem of catching BSM'ers. So many innocent players have been banned and this will finally stop it. I hope that none of the original people banned for obviously using BSM get unbanned though, as they still cheated and broke the rules.

lol if it is put into minecraft.. it won't be an option. It will be like how it is atm.. its double tap to sprint or gtfo. Unless ofc they let us have the option that we can turn it from one tap to 2 taps in the options menu. More than likely, if minecraft does put in the single tap sprint, it will be for everyone, not something you can pick and choose.

Being a PC game, it is very important that Minecraft has its own bindable sprint that allows the user, by default to toggle and rebind it as he/she pleases. Such a thing is a much needed addition to Minecraft, assuming it is done correctly.
Ever since BSM became popular, I always told people who would ask me about it that eventually Minecraft would have a very similar feature implemented by default.

I'm pretty skeptical about it to be honest. I believe PvP will be affected and will take some time to get use to, but I don't feel its needed and the current sprint mechanics are above manageable.

well the head developer of mojang twittered it so it will be added to the jar

i think its a good thing because then the staff cant ban someone anymore for bsm although he isnt using it!

In my opinion this is a good thing. We all get a new improved sprint. It might take some time to get used to but in the end i think we all can agree its gonna be a relief to get this whole BSM thing out of the way

Easy for you to say, you've used it on the hive and are probably used to it.

Others like myself have never used it and it will take a while to get used to. :/

One thing I agree completely with you is BSM bans, thank god we don't have to go through that anymore. xD
