For a lot of us, maybe...but for some others, it hardly works.the current sprint mechanics are above manageable.
In the past, when I was looking into how BSM worked exactly and it's advantages over the default sprinting method, I learned something: Wobble sprint, the common bug everyone gets with sprinting, gets worse and worse on top of happening far more easily the higher your ping to a server. This means if you are in the US, and you try to sprint on an EU server, you're going to have a bad time, whereas on the US, it's just fine.
This means people with a terrible internet speed, or those who aren't as close to any particular location, will have a really tough time sprinting. Usually, these are the people with a lot of sprinting problems.
A bindable sprint will fix all these problems and make it more fair for everyone, as latency becomes less of a factor and sprint becomes less...stupid. Even I have my fair share of moments where the sprint just doesn't want to work for me how it really should have worked since the update that added sprinting. A good example of this was on yesterdays livestream, on solar frost, where, when I left Chad and his army to go grab gear, I ended up getting in a fight that I couldn't run from as my sprint kept breaking on the tiny, tiny bumps in the snow when I tried to sprint jump. (The only reason I can't stand solar frost anymore. :/)
