Ok, I understand why you're angry. Any person in their right mind who has their ban dispute upheld will be angry, but in no way does denying a dispute lead to abuse of power in any way. If we have specific solid evidence to prove that a player is bypassing or could be bypassing their ban with an account, that account will be banned (and it's not just an IP match)

Okay, first off I'm not angry. I'm quitting minecraft anyway when I get 2k bl elo and 1 uhc stat win.

I got banned for saying "like nek" when I meant to say "like not even kidding". Nek is an abbreviation for multiple things, if you guys looked at the context of the ban it's obvious I meant not even kidding. Multiple staff members are biased towards me, so obviously they're going to say that it is abuse (when it clearly isn't, as I told no-one to nek) and ban me.

When I made my "good bye quitting thread" I did name my "alts" but that doesn't mean you ban them. That's like saying I'm Huahwi, and Huahwi gets banned.

You get had no sufficent evidence of my alts being me apart from me saying that they are me.

Well, there was that and the IP match. We can't ban Huahwi for being your alt if you two do not share an IP.

As for the actual evidence to your ban, the point you brought up I haven't heard before, as in nek having multiple meanings. If you'd like to discuss that, I can PM you and we can continue the convo when I wake up tomorrow

Judging from his story it seems it may have been the smallest bit harsh but then again he broke rules sooo... As much as I love GoldEllipse his argument may have been invalid in some parts

this staff is truly horrible, but i understand he needed a punishment for playing damn suicide bombers, but seriously, you removed his VIP ? the guy tried to make MCSG a better place, he has 21k subscribers, and probs a lot of people found out about MCSG from GoldEllipse, including me
don't get me wrong, a few mods are decent, but most of them just sit AFK in the hub. the EU mods are absolutely -snip-, they don't help the community at all, they just stay AFK and they pretend they didn't see when you asked for help probably because they're lazy to NOT help you even tho it's their job. the senior staff probably knows about this, but doesn't demote them either way
our only hope left is Chad .-.

removing his VIP is waaay to much. at least give him another warning or kick him from the teamspeak, removing his vip is not the way

He broke the rules and got it taken away he is just fame hungry he knew what he was doing was wrong but continued.

Look up "nek" on urban dictionary. Most of the meanings are related to it meaning "Not even kidding". I do think it's unjust for starstrong to be banned for that.

Well to be quite honest, his whole video was just his point of view on the community. And what he thinks we do right and wrong.
There is always going to be cases where things might go wrong but we try our best to prevent these cases and fix them up if they do occur.
But in my opinion I still love this servers community and that includes non-staff and staff, yes people make mistakes but we learn and move on.
His whole video was his opinion and he can have that if he wants, but there's always the factor that none of his views were argued with evidence. So I guess it's just going to be the communities response to whether they will make their own opinion on the server from what they believe, or believe him.

Edit: sorry just adding to my response we do have activity checks for our staff and have ways to know whether people are contributing or not, so keep in mind that we do monitor things and know when instances occur

Really, he has a YT channel with over 20k subs. He is acting extremely immature and that he really is upset that his VIP was taken away, or he would still be playing MCSG. I think what he said to the admins was pretty rude and the admins and mods are perfectly fine in my opinion.

GoldEllipse should be reasonable and improve become honest and good man to know how to behave with people. My opinion ^.^

I watched the video a couple days ago and like Alyssa said a lot of the stuff he states in the video is opinions over facts because he didn't claim to have any evidence of it. If that was a normal player we would have banned them but since he was a VIP he got a warning.
