I see it a little more from your point of view now, yes. Understandably I can see why you think there should be a differentiation in wait time for the separate offenses, and this could be a step in the right direction if we can do it correctly, which hopefully we can. I'll see what I can do in terms of suggesting this to the higher staff ^-^Im not sure if this is only me however if you become moderator on a server you become addicted to it. Dictate most of your time to it. I wouldn't plan to quit If I had a purpose in the community. However im saying for my offence I didn't exactly break a very bad rule. I admitted to hacks. I wasn't abusing someone or hacking. I was just having a friendly joke. I personally believe in my case that having to wait 12 months doesn't really help at all. However for other cases e.g. hacking, being abusive, staff disrespect, being racist then this is where the 12 months come in. So the punishment will truly dawn on you. You will have to learn from your mistakes.
But I don't think there'd be much of a difference in wait times if this were implemented. We do understand that especially in your case, the majority of people banned for admitting to hacking are banned because they were joking around, however we take hacking very seriously here, due to the most recent hacker problem. I think the response you'll get from most Sr. Staff is that you should have been more aware of the rules and that you still broke one, etc. However I feel like a bit of forgiveness wouldn't hurt anyone c:
Because it's still a bannable offense on our network. He didn't do "nothing" wrong, he broke a rule. Albeit a less serious one, but still a rule. But he said in his case that he has done nothing wrong, so why should he wait it out for joking about hacking?
Actually, they get perm-banned . That's quite the punishment if you ask me.Tons of people actually hack, they dont get this type of punishment.
