Community Poll: Leaderboards Reset with Newest Update?

One other thing is that if they reset, they will damage the community a lot. If they don't reset, everything stays the same and they won't damage the community. I vote no.

I can understand all the support for the No vote, for I was originally voting for No, but after some more thought, I switched to yes. Not because I was my stats to be reset, I can care less about my own, but more so that are leaderboards get the revamp that they need.

As Col_StaR has said, the leaderboards use outdated code that can't support or use any new data, and that resetting them will allow them to add in some new things. One of those things, which has been requested a ton, is Daily, Weekly, Monthly leaderboards. That would be one of the big new things added to the leaderboards if they were going to update them. Sure, new stats and whatnot would also be added, but those are no where near as requested as the other boards.

If this reset was not going to happen, everything would remain how it is, no harm done, we just wouldn't get any new features. We will remain on the current code, and since this is the only time that were are (supposibly) being given the opportunity to add in the features we've been asking for, refusing now will never give us that opportunity again, or any other new idea that may come in the future.

If this was going to happen, we would get these new features. Resetting the boards is sadly a side effect of updating them. I can understand that high ranked players want to keep their stats and remain where they are currently ranked, but if they're already at such a high rank, getting there again is no where near impossible.

Personally, I would like these new features to be added. If we were to say no now, there's no way that we would want to reset them later when the higher ranked players put even more time into the game. It would be better to reset them now and update our board's code than to miss the opportunity and disable any new features being added to our boards.

Why you should vote no:

1. It will literally drag so many hackers into the community it would be insane. Most of them don't care about stats, just to ruin peoples game and just make them mad in general. We DO NOT want competitive hackers in this community. Just no.

2. Probably every single player with 1,5k wins or so will quit playing. Also you will lose a lot of great community members and youtubers like Gravey4rd. This will just ruin what they have accomplished during the last 2,5 years.

3. Just because some youtuber that you love or something said that you should vote yes doesn't mean you have to. Remember that you've got your own opinion aswell. Pretty sure the VIP's has got the /statsreset anyways, so if they want to reset their stats, they could just use that instead of ruining everyone else's stats. pls no h8 mi i m jus sayien da truth!!! xDxDxDXxxD

Look at people like bacccaplaysmc he only started a year ago and he's rank 10-15 he has 3000 wins and he climbed up the leaderboards. all the new people don't realize you can get to the top with hard work. Just think about that for a second. YOU CAN GET TO THE TOP IF YOU TRY. All the newbies that want to get number one the easy way are stupi. YOUR NOT GONNA GET HIGH ON THE LEADERBOADS. Thank you, I wanted a reason to comment on this. My opinion? What's the point. Give me and the other top players a bit of time and we'll be back where we were (if they don't quit, personally, I won't). We're the top players for a reason, we know how to win in mass amounts. How else do you think we got 3000-4000 wins? I just think this is an incentive to bring more players in, and best of luck to you getting more players if you do indeed reset the leaderboards.

They probably dont even care about the really good players and the amount of time spent to get where they are now. They probably just want to reset so they can attract new players and get more money
