Flush was amazing, one of my facorites.
Starting Maze runner this week, can't wait!
Be sure to tell me when you finish it! I thoroughly enjoyed the series, which you may gather from the fact I read all the books, including the prequel in a pretty short span of time. I heard the film is just 'okay' (not terrible/bad, but not exceptional either), but I still plan on seeing it.

Gregor the Overlander (all of them)
Over the Cuckoo Clock
To Kill a Mockingbird
A Lesson Before Dying
Percy Jackson (all of them, excluding the new series)
Jack and Jill
1984
Animal Farm
Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy
The Giver
Ready Player One
Holes
Hoot
Flush

I have read all 3, actually. Just didn't recall them when I typed this out. You wanna know my thoughts?

Book 1 - Interesting and really cool!

Book 2 - Okay, but mostly just because Finnick is in it.

Book 3 - What a clusterf***. Seriously, so much stuff happens, I thought this book would never end.

Or I can sum up the entirety of what bothered me in the books series with one line that Katniss essentially was repeating the whole way "Gale or Peeta?!"

I have read every single one here except A Lesson Before Dying :D Reading is my life.

You see the Giver or The Maze Runner? I heard that they were both just 'okay', which I kind of gathered from the trailers. (TMR looked low budget, and the Giver just had the feeling that it was going to be wrong.) Which sucks for my sister if that's true, since she was really looking forward to the movie, and the book is one of her favorites.

I cannot get enough of Dystopian Fiction. By far my favorite genre. I can't remember all of the Dystopian books that I've read, but here's what I remember.

Gone, Hunger, Lies, Plague, Fear, Light - Series by Michael Grant
Divergent, Insurgent, Allegiant - Series by Veronica Roth
Legend, Prodigy, Champion - Series by Marie Lu
Hunger Games, Catching Fire, Mockingjay - Series by Suzanne Collins
1984 - By George Orwell
Lord of the Flies - By William Golding
Brave New World - By Aldous Huxley [Really Creepy Book]

I feel like my list is so short ;(
This is just what I remember reading in terms of Dystopia. I highly highly highly recommend the Gone Series. Just finished it, and absolutely loved it.

The Giver (movie) was an awful remake of the book. To me, it felt as if there were two students assigned a specific topic to write on. One wrote the Giver book while the other wrote the movie. However, I must say, it had a much more happy and satisfying ending, in oppose to the book, where Jonas hears singing. In Christian faith, and Lois Lowry is a Christian, you hear angels singing hymns in heaven. In other words, nobody knew if he lived or not.

Me and my friends will be seeing the Maze Runner next weekend. We would've gone Saturday but 1. I was camping for my brother's birthday and 2. one of my friends hasn't finished it yet.

Here's some recommendations:

Ready Player One by Ernest Cline - It's a pretty recent book and also covers some controversial topics. While I don't agree with everything in the book (particularly it's views on god), it was a very good read. It's set in a dystopian future, but references tons of video-games and is filled with pop-culture references.

Animal Farm by George Orwell - Not entirely fitting into the average dystopian motif (A dark future, aliens, technology, etc.), Animal Farm is much more of a political commentary novel, much like 1984 is. If you liked 1984, you'll probably like this book as well.

Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy - I don't care that it's not dystopian, or it's not dark, this novel is just a must-read. It is one of the funniest books I've read, if not the funniest.

My recommendations are below:

Skulduggery Pleasant - Derek Landy

Opinion - The series gets a lot better if you stick it out till the end, it's one of the only books which made me giggle. (it also did make me cry)

Percy Jackson [Including Heroes of Olympus] - Rick Riordan

Opinion - I loved it, the books are way better than the film. Advisable to read the first series before the second one, but they're both great

Chronicles of Ancient Darkness - Michelle Paver

Opinion - It's written really well, and based way back in time, with hunter gatherers. It's a fun series to read, sad at some points though ;-; c::::::

These are some of my favourite series to be honest, however I left out the more op ones *cough* harry potter *cough* hunger games *cough* There are loads of other individual books which I love too, but I really can't remember them all to put on her.

oh and also

I love watership down
