The channel must have a minimum of 20,000 subscribers, but 25,000 is strongly suggested in order to be competitive.

If you're saying this please please please stick by it, as I know in the past I've seen VIPs with ~2000 subscribers that haven't even uploaded an MCSG video. They weren't map makers either.​

Meh... the new YouTuber VIP requirements are actually better in my opinion and I'm loving the new Twitch VIP thing, that could help a lot of people who don't do YouTube but stream to have a chance!

What about an implementation of once receiving over 1,000 followers on the forums, you are legible to get VIP. I don't really know, just a suggestion.

I don't think any non-high ranking staff or existing VIPs have that many followers. O_O
I think that its probably only Chad who has that many.. if he even has that many..

Exactly why it should be implemented, you see if it was lowered to 500? It would be too easy. VIP is meant to be a given rank, not an easily achievable one.

If it was implemented I only need 934 more followers!

This part is really cool but when you follow someone something more than just getting messages on their status should happen. I'm not sure what but it would encourage more people to follow.

lol I would need like 980 something cuz no one follows me haha. But anyway it could be really cool. 500 isn't easily achievable though, I think Mooclan is second closest and he has like 210 followers so maybe 500 should be a start. I think Mooclan deserves VIP anyway.
