I love this post

Okay, I would go on a forum alt and post this but I don't really wanna right now.

Honestly? I DON'T put the most effort into my posts. I just make it seem like I do. Sometimes yeah, I do put a lot of effort, but really, it's just typing and thinking, two pretty easy things that I do decently well.
Demonsushi is absolutely correct, there most definitely are people who write better posts than I. I appreciate the compliments, but in all honesty I don't think that all of my posts are that great. Your criticisms are spot-on.

Think of an optical illusion:
Let's take, for example, an illusion of... uhm... oh heck, a ghost.
What you see is a white spectre floating mid-air with no physical substance or propulsion, but what the creator might see is some steam with two projectors casting light and creating a false impression of a ghost.

In this case, I'm the creator, and you're the viewer. What you may see is a very long post with large words and a ton of information, but what I perceive when I read my own posts is grammatical inconsistencies, run-on sentences, using words in the incorrect context, and way too many separate paragraphs where I don't need them. G33ke and SixZoSeven write so much better than me, but because they don't post as frequently, I don't see people giving them the credit.

^^^^
While I do appreciate being liked on the forums, I have to admit that this is true. I think a little while ago, someone admitted to me that if I posted something too long, they would skip reading it and just hit the Like button. ._.

I see plenty of players and forumers that deserve so much more respect than I. I'm just a 15 year old kid sitting at home all day, writing about a video game that I don't even play. I mean seriously, you're giving this guy compliments? Uhm, no offense to anyone in a situation just like me, but honestly I don't see anything honorable about it.

So since I haven't already done it on this thread, I'm going to quickly go through a few pages and find a few of the forumers that I see writing really good things but don't get enough credit. I won't be doing like, RC and Duck and stuff.

It's not the words in your posts that make them so great but the smiles they put on others faces. I appreciate this more than you can imagine.

Thank you.

Eh, I don't post anything unless I can come up with something to say in 30 seconds. Call it lazy, but I don't really "use" the forums for anything besides communicating with friends. The only thing I'm actually "well-known" for is following over 9000 people and following the most people on these forums.

I may not know what exactly gave you a happy face, but just remember: I was once a newcomer to these forums who pretty much fanboy-ed the flip out whenever RC_4777 or HalfSquirrel replied to something that I said. Nowadays it's a pretty normal occurrence for me, but I still keep in loving memory those days when I was a nobody, as they are the days that taught what it means to be humble.

Thank you! :) You too!

If you do your best to contribute, you're a good forumer in my eyes. :) I think that people shouldn't just be judged on what they do, but the intentions behind them as well - Your intentions are true, you consistently have something to say that contributes and adds to the discussion, and you're very friendly. Don't underestimate your merit.

Okay, expanding upon this list:
demonsushi adds to discussions and is helpful all-around. Doesn't cause flame, and comes across as a very nice fellow.
OhFancy suddenly appeared onto the forumer scene and made a large splash, earning a reputation fast.
arsenalfcgunners has strived to get MCTF2 back in action, and continues to post around the forums.
Ikanacanyon7 contributes to discussions, is a very friendly and community-oriented person.
Blazerboy | Noah can be relied upon to give a less-than-cheerful, yet often realistic outlook on various situations.
Ceroria (ZebraNation) I forgot what I was going to put here, but he's a zebra.
The next part:
BitoBain just.. wow. His posts never fail to shock me. He isn't afraid to post things that may shake people up, his posts are simply filled with information, and soo well-written. I envy his skillz :p
Captain | Lqzer may be a staff member, but he includes foruming in his job, which is something I really appreciate.
BlueHeron is always chipping in small posts that I really appreciate.
Bamber is someone I see posting pretty frequently
Twee... well, I don't remember what exactly he posts, to be frank.
darkrai202 I don't see him post often because of the time difference, but I'll never forget that he was one of the first people to make me apologize on the forums. xD
Nephilim is friendly and also helpful.
Beardy, oh, beardy..

I KNOW there are more than that, I just can't think of any off the top of my head, unfortunately.

Oh also, I just realized that I already did post a list on this thread ._. I just forgot.

Would you say that I still have that reputation? I think I may have lost it, in my quest for Active member.

Hmm. Due to the difference in our hours, I don't always see you post. From what I have seen, you still make a large impression, although I feel like it may have faded a bit because of your breaks. Nevertheless, you still do come across as someone who knows what they're talking about. I don't speak to many people about the forums, however, so it'd be good to get input from other people.

I do regret my breaks; I just wasn't motivated at all to post, I felt as though no one was paying attention to my posts either. But I am back, I have a lot of passion for foruming, so I'll be doing this for a long time :)
