Precisely. We felt after the conversion it would be fair of course to credit RF for the original hub work done as it was a collaboration.

Ok, I need to clear some things up regarding my maps.

Over the past 14 months of my life I have been constantly practicing and improving with building. I started out with a wave of maps (Summer 2013) that were honestly garbage. xD

But since late last year, I have produced two maps that have become community favorites on the forums. (Both have over 85% yes votes on their polls). I am not saying that my maps are better than anyone else's maps because I know how hard it is to make a map, and the creators don't deserve to be put down by people saying that their map is bad and another map is better. That being said though, no other maps (except Turbulence, which was added) had more community support on the forums than my maps.

I saw a few comments regarding that community support doesn't always equal good maps. I would just like to point out that a lot of the time there are very good reviews, suggestions, and criticisms. That is one thing that shocks me with this community is how great of a "Map Downloads and Discussions" section we have. Much more impressive than any other server out there. Now, this still doesn't mean that everyone is going to be a 'map reviewing genius', but the fact that our community is so good within the "Map Downloads and Discussions" section of these forums has to say something.

So, basically, my maps had the most support out of almost every other map except Turbulence. My maps had test games during which everyone said they had a good time and that the builds and gameplay were awesome. (I am serious, during the test games no one had a single negative thing to say about the maps.)

This is really the only argument I can make. I am not going to put other map makers down, but by the looks of it, the maps that were added haven't gathered much support, at all. If we wanted maps from PMC we would all move the PMC forums. But we aren't on the PMC forums. I think if we have map makers who are willing to exclusively submit their maps to THESE forums, then they should be considered leaps and bounds ahead of PMC maps (or maps from any other place). If this was the case we would see my maps on today.

But like I have been saying, if this is the move MCSG wants to make then I will support it. I won't question it anymore. However, this "wonderful, awesome, amazing June update" hasn't delivered so far as seen by the overwhelming negativity to the update. Thanks for reading this. I am willing to talk to you LadyOfLove if you need to hear from me why I think my maps should be added or you can just go to-

Shady Hollow

-and see for yourself.

Thanks for the support everyone, but don't put down Team Elite or RedForest. I too feel sometimes that they are given special treatment, but when it comes down to it they are both wonderful build teams and MCSG is lucky to have them.
MCSG you have my support even though I don't agree with the decisions; just make sure you don't lose everyone else's.

I would have to agree with you.

Hub Games and all the gimmicks ripped off of already built, designated designs are really irritating and lacking in creative ideas.

Wasteland, in my opinion, is a pretty good map, mainly because I found an amazing route xD

Atlantis is small, and basically a more "wet" Avaricia. We need completely original maps which people want to fight on.

To whomever it may concern, please choose more original, playable, and overall, more Enjoyable maps. Thanky you.

I would like to congratulate you on the builds you've done. They're both incredible, unique and fun to play on. I really want to play them, especially Zone 85 in the future. I wish you the best of luck in getting the maps on the server, which should rightfully be added considering the support in general, and swagness of the maps :3

LadyOfLove ChadTheDJ And whomever this may concern. Please reconsider the the removal of a few of the recent additions to MCSG's maps.
With the concern of the community, it is obvious that the maps added aren't exactly 'favourable' among players.
There was a lot of distress among people due to the lack of creativity and uniqueness of quite a few of the maps added.

Hub Games: Plain, Boring, and we already have the playable lobby.

Atlantis: A wetter Avaricia, containing almost no suitable fighting areas, too many chests, and to crowed. Also shows nothing new or significant.

Wasteland: Large, not enough structures, and dull. Terraforming is terrible too.

Enchanted Forest: Haven't played it but I'm assuming it was built just to look good o-O

Turbulence: I like it, you like it, everyone likes it c:
The only good map in the update

A possible improvement:

There are many good maps waiting to be added, but strangely enough, even with the overwhelming support - they haven't.

SuperxAndrew has made 2 incredible maps, both different to current ones, with awesome features -

Zone 85 - Well built, with over 85% of the poll votes saying they want to play the map on these servers - http://www.minecraftsurvivalgames.com/threads/zone-85.91781/
Shady Hollow - Just as innovating as the one mentioned before, with the same amount of people wanting to play it, not because it looks 'cool' but because it's built well, and has some amazing areas to pvp in which is the main aspect of the "Survival Games".

Haruka - Don't know much about this but as what the community has said, I'd say they want it added.

Thank you in advance if this problem is followed up on

I would like to point out that I have never met Qwackey and that this is a perfect example of how the community is upset. Someone who doesn't even know me is taking their time to advocate for my map in a well though out and organized post. Just sayin'. :p

Here are my thoughts about the new maps:

Hub Games - This is a complete gimmick and you're lying to yourself if you think otherwise. The hub was made to be a hub, not a survival games map. Plus, there was absolutely zero demand from the community for a hub map. I honestly don't care if Chad wanted it, the Hub Games is a map that the Map Committee should have had the sense not to go forward with.

Wasteland - I remember playing it last summer on the pmc contest servers, and my nickname for it was "the 30 minute game map". It's huge, open, and not to good on the eyes either. While it is at least designed to be a survival games map (better then Hub Games :p), I don't think it's well made or suited for mcsg gameplay.

Excavation Zero - I also played on this last summer on the pmc servers and liked it quite a bit. While it's not the most detailed in some spots, it plays well and the builds are pretty solid and unique. I could see this map getting fairly popular if it was tiered generously. Overall, I have no problems with this map getting accepted.

Turbulence - This was a mild shocker to me. I personally thought that a couple other community maps had a better chance of getting accepted, but given the huge amount of support for this map I shouldn't be too surprised. Even though I might not have accepted this map, I do think this will be the most popular map from this update because of it's design towards pvp.

Enchanted Forest & Atlantis - I haven't played on either and the pmc pages I couldn't find for them, so I have no opinion on them yet.

I personally think Zone 85 should've been added before, well, all of these maps. It's built well and plays well, plus it has a ton of community support. As for Andrew's other map, Shady Hollow, I'm not surprised it wasn't added yet. I say this not because it is a bad map, but because it was made so recently that I knew there was little chance the Map Committee would get around to it for this update. I am hopeful that it will be added next map update.

I take it you did not attend last nights Map QnA with Dave and LadyOfLove. So I'll answer some of your questions, The wrong version of Atlantis was pushed out to the servers meaning the proper and more fair version will be coming. Also, I agree with what most of you have said, if you have any questions email or inbox LadyOfLove and she might be able to sort something out with the maps. Now regarding Andrews maps, maybe emailing her saying which maps you want added (yours duh) and then saying which maps should be removed/replaced with your maps :) hope that helped
