Could you give us some arguments please why the new voting system is unfair? As I've said before if the mayority wants a map to be chosen It'll receive a bigger percentage to win. This means that most of the time that map actually will get chosen. I simply don't understand how you can call that ridiculous, Even if a map with only 1 vote wins, there is alot of other times where it didn't win.
And to talk about "Pvp-friendly maps" There are none actually. You can PvP In every map, a flat-land or a mountain it shouldn't matter for PvP, as both parties will have the same terrain to fight on. And again as I stated before, Being able to adapt to your surrounding is part of PvP.
Why do people get parliement into this? Because it shows that it's perfectly fair and that's why it's used in real life aswell.
I have gave reasons why I believe it's unfair if you just read but whatever,
Basically I feel it's unfair that, let's say for example Valleyside University had 29 votes and I don't know SG1 had 1 vote which would mean it has 3.33% or something like that chance of winning. Ok, I see you're point here, you believe that only 3.33% of the games in this situation will go through to SG1 however this does not seem to be the case, it seems the lower voted maps are picked more often than you think and I've seen many people feel the same way. Besides, that's only part of my argument.
The second part is, still in the same scenario, if 23/24 players were happy with Valleyside, waiting the full lobby time to play the map they clearly thought was going to win just to start the game going into SG1, which was caused by that one voter. I think this is not fair on the
majority of the people because they waiting the lobby time with the map they wanted to play, was pretty much sure to be played then it doesn't happen. This is where guys say "If you don't like it, then leave" and my argument for that is as also stated many times that why should we be forced to leave for playing a map which had one vote compared to 29 (in this scenario). It's totally unfair if you ask me personally.
I said the unfair part maybe on a slightly personal field of view however, if you go into a game with a map winning which had 1 vote and a very low percentage chance then just watch the reactions you see in the chat, it's
clear that the map was not wanted and it frustrates again the
majority of the players who waited in that lobby. This is why I see it unfair.
