My problem is simply that I can't even play. Literally. Im running on a 2008 iMac, which isn't compatible with the new launcher, unless they fix it so that it is. I won't be getting a new computer until my birthday, which is four months from now .-.

Only problem is no optifine and sprinting bug. Also idk how to convert my r3dcraft into resource pack so thats a problem too. But i luv horses and suprisingly my fps is higher its in the mid 140-240 i wonder how much better it will be with optifine :O

Well that sucks i have a macbook pro for a laptop and i think it wasnt compatible so my friend told me to update the osx and it worked you should try it and see if it works!!

I can run at a decent FPS without Optifine, but I'm missing my shaders D:
I also hate the sprinting bug also. </3

i get around 60 to 80 fps with shaders on my computer and around 100-200 on regular during 1.5 but now its just at around 20fps on tiny,normal and far

Well.... I used to have 60 frames with optifine. Now I get 10. Also the sprinting bug is a HUGE! problem.

I know there is definitely a FPS drop, although most people who are experiencing a significant drop, well I think it's due to their settings. I've helped multiple people out with their FPS issues since the update, and most of them had their settings reset and hadn't changed them. Far render, smooth lighting on, etc etc. Have you manipulated your settings?

I too have a decent gaming build and good internet, and am still getting a constant 80FPS with decent settings (far render on, bobbing on, particles all, etc.).

Read my thread, it explains everything. Also, without opti fine on the lowest settings I will get around 1 - 5 fps. UNPLAYABLE.

Just my fps, which was 100+ before with optifine is now only 20-40 depending on the map, which effects my pvp, then again everyone is having problems with the update, so those who are truly skilled will just adapt.

I got 300 wins with 10-15 fps and lagspikes I have a good graphics card but the point is LIVE WITH IT

The sprinting bug, but frames haven't gone down too much for me, I just play on short instead of normal.
