Please don't just post Ps 4 > X-box one or X-box one> Ps4. Give Nate and the community your reasons and hopefully we can start a friendly debate. :D
thanks
But ya I don't even necessarily want to start a debate I just want to hear peoples reasoning on why they choose that system. A big reason I am picking mine is for the points made on the xbox on the OP. There are good points on the PS4 side too, mostly price and the power, other than that I just think the perks of the xbox outweigh the ps4, specifically for what I personally want in a system. That and I have just been an xbox fan for a while and since I have had years of memories and fun with xbox I want to give its successor a chance. Unfortunately for most people that is literally the only reason they choose theirs.

Everybody here needs to watch this but I warn you it is quite vulgar.
You should NOT pick a console because you feel like you are loyal and that one console or the other is winning the "war". I have a PS3 and Sony has said they are going to continue to support it until 2015, so I likely won't "upgrade" until then. I may buy a PS4 just for the reason that Sony has better exclusives (The Last of Us, Uncharted, Beyond: Two Souls, Killzone, Gran Turismo, etc), although my dumbass friends are buying an Xbox just because they think they're loyal to Microsoft. PC is superior as far as performance, haha. Anyways those are my thoughts.

A lot of people complain about how Microsoft isn't trustworthy anymore after their initial policies but somehow they fail to see that Sony wanted to do the same thing and they were going to but they played their cards a bit better and let Microsoft announce their policies first and when they saw that they weren't too popular they decided to revoke them before they announced similar policies.
Also Sony failed to innovate in anyway with the PS4 and really the only upgraded that is worthwhile from the PS3 is a bit more power (which isn't even that much compared to any mid range gaming pc).
So I won't be getting either of the consoles because they fail to deliver a worthwhile experience (although in my opinion the xbox is a bit better [maybe I will pick up a second hand one a couple of years down the line]). I will stick by my pc.

I'm probably getting a PS4 for Christmas, so I'm pretty excited for it and of course "vote" for Playstation

A year ago I would have been so excited for the new consoles, now that I have a good PC I couldn't care. That said, I probably would have gotten the Xbox.
