12 youtubers, and 12 big-name MCSG players. Livesteam it, advertise the living daylight out of it, the whole she-bang. Showcasing the MCSGv2 (completed) plugin.

Necroing is only bad if the thread is brought back by an unrelated comment or if it is on a topic that is no longer applicable. Though necroing is not generally a good thing, in this case I think it's acceptable. The idea of a YouTuber MCSG match is a good one, and I would rather have it take place on a thread already talking about the subject rather than have a new one made, especially when the necro wold only be from a week back.

I'll agree with that, but I don't quite think it's possible. I don't think there are any big enough youtubers in MCSG, and there's no point trying to take some from the Hive because they have already gotten there. It may not be a bad idea, but it can't increase our player count by that much.

I agree we need another big name, but we are easily much bigger than them and better some publicity could be good but bad.

They are not 'in the Hive' though

They played on there for a big Youtuber HG, not for some political power play or pledging their allegiance to one server over another. I think most of them would be willing to do the same thing on MCSG, given a bit of time. They are not owned by the Hive, and have free will to play on whatever servers they wish. We would not be 'taking' them from the Hive.

Well, they've already been to the hive. They've brought their fans there. Getting them to come here can't have the same effect.

If the hive gets bigger that will decrease players on mcsg....
Making more servers available to our communnity.
If we get servers that are not filling up regularly then it might be time to "do something"

I think mcsg are losing a lot of players. It's not because of lag but maybe they just want a change, maybe there are too many hackers. I don't know but I think something will happen soon. I also just checked the H*** forums and many former mcsg mods are there and there are currently more active members on their website, than there is ours.
