Someone told me a theory that gold swords get better enchants. this is what i got with 1 level XD.

Just worked out that a golden sword with sharpness 2 will at least do the damage of an iron sword with a possibility of doing half a heart more than a diamond one! Thats actually a really good strategy to use early in the game.

each sharpness level adds maximum 1.5 damage a hit so a gold sword with sharpness II can do between 3-5 damage lol
