Maybe postponing this contest until after 1.5 would be a good idea. What with all of the texture pack changes, it would be a hassle to make a texture pack in 1.4.7 and then have to update everything into the new format for texture packs. Or you could have everyone making texture packs get a snapshot of 1.5 and use the new format...?

I might have a go at this, I've been looking for inspiration for a new texture pack

my old one is... very outdated.
