And for those who don't know, chain boots, helmets and chestplates give less protection than their chain counterparts- this is because there are smaller increments of protection not shown in the GUI.

YES! And I think the arrows and why not other items too should vary from 1-3 for example, you could get 3 sticks stacked together from the chest.
