I can see where your coming from.
I haven't ever played moonlight lake before so don't know EveryThing about it, but watched a few vids on it.
I didn't know about this map at the time I made it. There are a lot of differences, but lots of similarities to, making me agree partially with your point.

It kind of looks like you copied a biome from normal survival and pasted it into a flatworld, and then added some random fire and structures :/
It also looks kind of small, what's the radius?
