Pokemon: X and Y

So what are your thoughts on these two games! I honestly hope they revive the franchise. I didnt care for black and white at all. Diamond and pearl were okay but not nearly anywhere as good as the first 3 generations. But I want to know what you think of X and Y and what has been your favorite generation so far?

Favorite generation.. wil be Gold/Silver.. Must admit that i haven't played red/blue/yellow.. but Silver remains the best for me

The first Pokemon game I got was Diamond. It was okay. I couldn't defeat it. Then I bought platinum. Still couldn't beat it. So then I bought Black. I owned the Elite 4. And now I'm gonna buy Black 2.

I Honestly don't have a favorite pokemon game. It's a 3 way tie between pokemon blue, silver and emerald for me. All three were amazing games.

I personally enjoyed the Emerald/Sapphire/Ruby generation more than the rest, but they were all pretty good.

The thing I didn't like about black and white is that all the Pokemon were fragile as hell. Most couldn't last more than 1 fight without needing major healing.

Also, isn't the title a little misleading. One would think that the thread would be most peeps thoughts on X and Y. My thoughts are........ Take that haters. A main series Pokemon game for 3DS that looks better than that "5th" generation. X and Y = 5th generation.
