Honestly, so many players are outraged because some players have gone to the Perth meet up and received a free donor which is higher than diamond... basically your giving people a free donor and its really unfair to the people who couldn't make it or don't live where the meetup was, just being in the hub shows how peeved players are... thoughts?

They were given this rank as part of beta testing. Somebody needs to debug it and test it out to make sure it's not bugged. It could have been any 10 random people, but he instead chose those people.

If you wish to upgrade from diamond, you also don't need to spend even more money. You just need to pay the amount (platinum price - diamond price) needed to upgrade.

Additionally, this rank is also going to result in additional perks being added to other ranks.

It's a permanent rank. Hey, people regularly get diamond donor after they're randomly picked from a list of people who retweeted one of Chad's giveaway tweets. These people actually showed up to an event (some of them travelling more than two hours), just to meet up with other MCGamer players. They didn't know they would be getting a rank, so they didn't show up in the hopes of getting free stuff.

Okay seriously, why are people causing such a fuss over this rank? These people traveled for hours just to meet other MCSG players, and they are now beta testing a new rank before it is released to the public.
