MCSG Unoffical Tournament interest

Not sure yet, like i said above server problems etc have hindered this quite a bit. When everything is ready there will be at least 1 week probably more notice on a new thread in this forum, Keep watch!



Depends on how you mean. You would have to enter the tournament as a solo player. You can not enter as a team, for now. But once you are in game, teaming with the other players is allowed.

By all means you and you're friends could all enter the tournament but you would not neccesarily be put into the same match, If you were it would be luck.

I would probably withhold the names of each person in each match until the game starts aswell. As to stop people getting into contact with people beforehand to make up tactics.

Maybe you should allow the top fifty contenders from US to pit it out on an extended huge version of Map 1. (Original) The maximum amount of players on a team being 2-4 and no foul play allowed. I'd also love for more beginners to play but they wouldn't have much of a chance considering the people here are playing to win for that donor. GL to everyone~Peter258111

It was a suggestion of course it has faults, just saying my thoughts I didn't say you should agree.

I think having premade teams would be unfair against the solo players. If anything in the application process. people could apply in a team. And if a team of similar size and rank apply aswel, enough to fill up a game. Have a team based game without them knowing prior to when they meet in game.

Im going along the lines of people really not knowing what kind of twists we can put on the game before them coming in. I think it will add to the experience.

So what ever happened with this? Are you still having issues with the program or is the idea just gone? I was really exited for this but how long has it been, 2.... 3 months? I'm sure a lot of people are still into this idea (with all the clan battles going on.) I can't really offer my help since i have nothing to offer, but i'm sure some people would love to help you if you are having issues. Don't just throw the idea away! I'm with you 100%!!!

So what ever happened with this?

Basiclly. Still cant emulate the MCSG Plugin, Teleportation bugs are causing problems. The server location is causing lagg for some players. Clanforge is really having problems with multiverse right now. And a whole lot of stuff regarding data for loot drops etc.

It is proving very very hard to emulate MCSG On my own and i cant for the life of me get hold of chad to ask about getting a server rented from him. Its also costing me £35 a month right now to host the 50 player server.

Basiclly, Alot of problems
