One disaster could be when the clock hits the mark the trees will crash down and break and fall over to damage/hurt the players

I have some good ideas :)

You could have wolves attack you in a disaster area like the mutations in the first Hunger Games movie.

If it is possible maybe you can make the cornucopia spin at refill ( like in catching fire ) or at certain time intervals or have a disaster where the land around you seems like it is spinning, making the player confused.

Maybe you could have fireballs come flying at the players like in the first movie.

You could have a thing where like deadly things pop up out of the ground or something happens and when you get hit you are poisoned and you have to find water to heal yourself ( kind of like how water heals the blisters in catching fire )

At one of the disasters you could have the whole ground burst into flames and the only way to survive is climbing up into a tree.

There could be a disaster where the grass grows high up or sugarcane grows high and the players dont know which way to go maybe

Also, if you are running in a disaster zone, the ground can create a sinkhole that you will be trapped in

A attack of those dizzy potions at spawn. In the movie where cornucopia spins around, it could be like that with the dizzy potion things to make the screen spin around for a amount of time on the tributes at spawn, at that time.

ok. so, when the disaster strikes a record disk will begin playing. this record disc song causes hallucinations and drives the player mad. they get nausea, slowness, weakness.

my second idea are the potion-effected spiders, if spider jockeys are able to ride them then have a bunch of potion-induced-spider jockeys spawn.

zombie pigmen that are already angered and will attack on sight

"Night of the Living Dead" must happen at a dusk or night time, zombies (fallen tributes) rise from the grave and are equipped with armor and swords/axes/shovels

  1. Similar to the movie, there can be some sort of wall of gas travelling towards the centre of the segment. If you run into this haze, you can experience harmful potion effects like blindness and nausea.
  2. There can be an invisible maze in the segment (probably using invisible blocks) so the player is forced to find a passageway through the invisible walls (could be a good challenge).
  3. A combination of creepers spawning and lightning all in one segment, so the creepers become charged.
  4. Random anvils falling from the sky? (would be much less laggy than TNT)
  5. In one segment, if you click the "tab" button, your coordinates will be displayed to everyone, to let them know where you are xP Or harmless lightning can strike and reveal people's locations.
  6. Random blocks in the segment can turn into landmines, and once you step on them, they will explode. (they will be disguised as whatever block they were before but they're actually TNT *omg*)
  7. Gets rid of all the weapons in your inventory (may be a bit too op). Or your strongest weapon, so you MAY have another one in your inventory.
  8. Randomly spawning massive killer slimes :3
  9. Maybe you can use the redstone dust as blood rain, and if you get rained on you can experience negative potion effects or combust into flames xP
  10. Snow golems will spawn everywhere and start shooting dangerous snowballs at you.
  11. Iron golems will spawn in that section and will start attacking you (may be a bit op).
  12. All the glowstone or any light source will be automatically be removed, making it completely dark. Maybe some poisonous cave spiders can start spawning?

I got a few

Landmines- Random, hidden, tnt spawns in the ground and if you step on it; it blows you in the air.

Killer wolves- Kind of like in the first movie (where they made all the dead people into mutant wolves/mutts). Anyways, these wolves would be not be killable and you would have the blindness effect while trying to run away.

The wither- Idk, probably laggy but I just wanted to throw it out there. If it is added though, you could probally downgrade it to make it easier
