Not always. Some people might instantly forget who the persons name/skin was due to the fact they just died and then their attention is all drawn to the fact that they've just been annihilated from the games. :3

I meant you probably saw their name or at least part of it, so can't you just look at tab to figure it out if you didn't already?
Exactly my point
Some people (me) instantly forget about the name or skin of who may of killed me due to I focus on the fact I've been killed. Then I turn my attention to the guy/girl that killed me if I've not accidentally clicked away. Usually you don't bother to look at the players gametags anyways.
All I'm saying is that I don't think It'd be too much of a problem if one minor thing was changed. It might do some people good anyways! ;3
Or what you could also do is flick through all the people and then realize where was nearest to your death but sometime this doesnt work either D:
