In my thread I suggested we have districts, like SG since MCGamer is mainly SG, and rather than having to fight each other/the Capitol, they work together to do their district's main idea. Like D11 would be farming, D12 would be coal mining, etc. You could also change districts sometimes

Ahh. I thought about posting this thread over there, but I thought it would gain more attention here.

UPDATE:
Added the district idea to the main thread.

1. Luxury Items such as diamond tools, and higher up armour. Also enchanting possibly.
2. Cobblestone and weapons of all sorts (Meaning swords, bows, etc.)
3. Redstone contraptions, working with power and transportation probably, and making other household contraptions
4. Fishing, building with/in water
5. Power? Maybe the place where all the power comes from, nothing complicated. This district could be in charge of more because there isn't that much here.
6. Minecart tracks/any forms of travel, like maybe command block teleporting. Since I'm pretty sure there is still no legit way to get a command block, they could make trades with the system to trade like X amount of things for a command block.
7. Wood and axes
8. Leather armour, dyed to suit the person buying maybe (so their choice), carpets, wool, paintings, item frames, clocks, compasses, maps, and other tailor made items or items of that sort
9. Grain
10. Livestock (animal farming essentially, or how I think of it )
11. Farming
12. Coal/mining
13. No super secret district, because it has no purpose other than being a secret 'capitol' planning revenge.
No Capitol. Can't have anywhere too OP, it would just be boring for the person there after a while and annoying for everyone else.
I think there should be a main city though, which is where all the districts work together to make the world more amazing. There could be nice Minecart tracks all around, where you could choose which direction you're going in and stuff. Also, all the buildings would be beautiful and legit, but also player made. No need for plots because it's only select people on the server.
Also, it would be nice if there was a TeamSpeak rank for people allowed on this server, so that they could join a channel specifically for people on the Peaceful survival server

I doubt this would be possible in MCSG, so I think it would be a lot better to just have someone host a server and do it themselves. Though it would be worse, because we wouldn't be able to make any special plugin to suit it.

For 6, I was thinking horse tracks, boats (which could be 4) and the ice on soulsand thing, as well as mine carts. And 1 could also make potions. But we could give the potions job to 5, because that would give 5 a major job which it doesn't have yet.
Also, as I was thinking we could set the whole server after the 2nd uprising successfully destroyed the Capitol, then the current Capitol would be the central city where every district has come together to build and share their creating power, with district 13 being a tribute to the 'veterans' of the war (the staff/old/helpful players)
On the subject of doing it ourselves, I completely agree with you. The developers are far to busy to code a server for the forumers. However, I believe that some of the developers own the hosting company which hosts MCSG, so I hope they will agree to let the forums host a server with them. If not, I will most likely just wipe my old Desktop, install some kind of Linux on it and run a dedicated server. However, that may take some time.
I will make another thread tomorrow asking for help from plugin writer, among other things. I will PM you before I do though, just to check.
