Bi-Lingual Moderators

I have noticed that there is a very large amount of Spanish speaking players in the MCSG community. I have also noticed there are little to none Spanish speaking moderators. I have started thinking MCGamer should open up an application for BI-Lingual moderators to assist and or moderate the non English speaking players. I just thought this would help the community bring in more non English speaking players. Which of course will grow the MCGamer community.

Sorry I don't Speak Spanish. But Considering English isn't my first language nor really my 2nd I think I'm doing well. I really see any Spanish Players. But I guess that depends on Location, Server Ids and Time of day. I'm Trying to Learn Korean but I've always been interesting in Spanish. That was gonna be my next learn or try to learn. Yes I agree that more linguistic Moderators would be nice it would also help if the Players could speak English as many of us know English even if we aren't.

I myself am taking Spanish 3 this year. I play on the US servers and I see a large amount of Spanish speaking players which is why I chose that language for this post. It can be any language really, just depending on location.

I agree that we should have more multi-lingual mods, or at least ones that know the languages that are popularly used on out servers.
You'd think I'd know some spanish after taking it for 4 years. NOPE.
English was technically my 3nd language, but we have more than enough coverage on that.
And I've never seen anyone speak in Tamil or Telegu on the servers so knowing those 2 are kinda useless.
I'd help with Japanese but I've never really encountered it very much here.

Thank you for moving the thread. I noticed it was in The Walls (Alpha) sub-forum and I thought that was weird. I totally know what you mean about not knowing Spanish. I am going into my third year of it and I can only make out about two words in a sentence. Oh well I guess. Just gotta keep on learning.

Well, I am learning spanish in school right now, so if I get mod I could help and Im sure there are plenty of mods taking spanish too.

From about 10.30 pm - 2 am GMT like 90% procent of the players on EU are spanish lol xD
I was up that late yesterday I realized I wasn't able to do any moderating since I cant speak spanish x3

A lot of the staff are actually bi-lingual. We have people who can speak Russian, Korean, Spanish, Vietnamese, Dutch, Norwegian, and others. @MCJackson is also proficient in Klingon.

Besides that, it is difficult to have multiple languages. All of application and interview processes are English, as well as the servers, website, etc.
